Spectacular hotel, excellent location right on the Promenade de Anglais so sea is just on the front. Staff is extremely helpful, the room was clean with good amenities. Would definitely recommend.
Breakfast options were good but i missed a coffee machine - only brewed coffee available with milk on the side
Also upon check in you will need to pay 100eur deposit, which I was not aware of at first, but maybe it was just me not checking thoroughly. Upon check out it was refunded within 10-15mins

Nothing good is meter if I didn't get my deposit refund of 180 euro. I was asking to pay deposit by cash so I can get it back when chacking out , but they insist to pay deposit by card. When we were checking out everything was fine, reception lady told me that my money will refund tomorrow. After eight days no one respond to e mails and money has gone, without explanations.

The room is suitable for families and the layout is consistent with the pictures. It is closer to Nice Rizier Station and does not require walking to the main railway station. The location is good, and the old town and the port are within a 10-minute walk. Backed by the Castle Hill, you can overlook the Bay of Angels and the whole city of Nice when you go up the hill. The room service responds quickly and the front desk introduces it in detail. It is clean and tidy every day. I wanted to stay longer, but it was fully booked. I will come to Nice again and stay here.

The advantages are that the hotel is located in Angel Bay, the breakfast is delicious, and the room has been renovated and is not too old. But there is one thing that is very unsatisfactory. We booked a double room with a child's bed, but when we checked in, we were assigned a very small, very damp room in the most corner (facing the linen room). There was no bathtub, the bathroom was very shabby, the washbasin was very small, the room space was almost too big to open the suitcase, and there was no light... It was not until we found that the room facilities were broken and strongly requested to change rooms that we were given another double room, which was three times larger than the previous one!!! There was also a bathtub, and the bathroom and washbasin were also in the normal star hotel format. I seriously suspect that the hotel is looking at people and thinking that we don't speak the language, which makes me not choose this hotel again.

Although the hotel is a bit of a distance from Marseille's Old Port, public buses and trams are conveniently located nearby, making transportation quite accessible. However, it's a bit far from the metro station, which makes getting to the airport less convenient. The hotel features a stylish design and brand-new facilities. While the room size isn't large, it does come with a small kitchenette, perfect for preparing simple meals. The bedding is comfortable, and the room is relatively quiet. Overall, it's quite good.
The location is perfect for Antibes I think; close to old town, short walk or taxi to the other side (Juan les Pins) and Eden Roc. The only thing is that you aren’t guaranteed a beach bed if you stay here, they seem to be booked out for days (or more) in advance and honestly, the staff at the beach club were all pretty rude/blase and didn’t care that we were staying at the hotel (almost like the two are separate, if they actually are, they shouldn’t sell it as a part of the hotel!).
This place is just opposite the train station. The overall feeling of the hotel is very comfortable, the details are well done, and the corners are artistic. I like this type of hotel very much!
Good location on the embankment. spacious rooms, welcoming staff. Worked sauna and swimming pool despite the non-season.
Unfortunately, there are no slippers and coats in the room.

GGuest UserThe location was not too far from the old port. The metro is easily accessible around the corner. The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The breakfast was ok but it is better to eat at a local bakery. If I am in Marseille again I would return here.

SShamin GholamiWe booked this place for the pools, the spa and the parking.
Upon arrival we were told the parking is full, we don't have breakfast although I showed proof in app and in my emails.
After getting to ”our room” we found it was already taken (there was an upon luggage on the bed) and we were informed someone got upgraded to our upper floor room with breakfast and we got their lower floor room (without breakfast, which would explain the initial confusion ).
They asked for a credit card for the mini fridge goods but our mini fridge was empty.
We didn't have enough towels and I literally had to bring them up myself.
The upper floor/outdoor pool (the oke in the first picture of the hotel) needs to be booked the same day and has 10 spots only with no booking limit per person and the spa/massages were fully booked (with only one 30min available at 7:15am and we are a couple) needless to say we didn't get to enjoy neither.
We used the sauna and there were no towels, although mandatory to use in the sauna as per their sign, no water to rehydrate and no water to pour on the stones for steam.
We didn't go to the indoor pool initially because of screaming/shouting kids although there were signs with instructions for a quiet and relaxing area.
Honestly, I feel like we were scammed 😪 would never stay again and really wished we booked another place especially given the wide variety of beautiful Hotels in the area.
Moreover the room didn't have a ceiling light but just ambience lamp, ours was constantly flickering so we turned it off and spent our time in the semi-darknes (room 325)..
The breakfast was good and the staff lovely, we interacted with Joao (upon arrival with the big mess up, he was very helpful and apologised many times), Manal and Nabil and they were all great and very helpful.
MMarkusWe had the great pleasure of spending several days at the beautiful Villa Castellane in France, and we were impressed by the stylish yet warm atmosphere as soon as we arrived. The hotel perfectly combines elegance and comfort—you immediately feel welcome and well taken care of. The rooms are tastefully furnished, very clean, and offer everything you need for a relaxing stay. They are spacious and equipped with a small kitchen. The hotel's location is also ideal for exploring the charming surroundings of beautiful Provence while enjoying a peaceful retreat.
We would particularly like to highlight the evening service in the hotel's restaurant, and especially Carla!
Carla immediately put a smile on our faces with her open, warm French manner. She is not only incredibly friendly, but also highly professional and clearly passionate about her work. She accompanied us through the evening with great attention and served us a fantastic dinner. Each course was not only a culinary delight, but was also presented by her with great charm and friendliness.
It is clear that Carla loves her job and is connected to her homeland. She wants to give her guests a sense of her homeland. This personal commitment enriched our stay in a way that is not often experienced.
The culinary experience itself was also outstanding: fresh, high-quality ingredients, creative compositions, and perfectly balanced flavors—accompanied by a wonderful selection of wines. Everything seemed to be thought out down to the last detail and prepared with a love for the craft.
Overall, our stay at Villa Castellane was perfect from start to finish. A beautiful house, a great team, and service that comes from the heart. We will definitely be back and are already looking forward to seeing Carla again. :-)
GGuest UserEverything was marvellous especially spastian duty manager who solved our very late check in .Great location except some reception staff who were ignoring our welcome till Duty manager Spastian upgraded our stay thanks to the lovely team in restaurant ❤️❤️❤️great stay
XXiaobalikakaerEnvironment: There is nothing to say about the view of the sea view room. Open the curtains and you will see the sea.
Facilities: There is free viewing and a bath on the sixth floor of the hotel. It can accommodate about six people. The breakfast is pretty good and tastes so-so.
Service: The overall service is quite satisfactory. There is only one person at the front desk. I booked two rooms. In one of them, the windshield of the air conditioner fell down at night. Fortunately, no one hit it. The front desk took care of it briefly at night. After checking out, Ctrip Also helped communicate with the hotel
GGuest UserThe owner and host Pascal is very warm, eager to please, excitable and very outgoing. There is a happy hour for guests and Pascal everyday and it is nice to make friends with other guests. A very nice breakfast is good included daily. A short 5-8 minute drive to the lovely but crowded town of L'Isle sur la Sorgue. Pascal helped us book last minute dinner reservations in L'isle sur la Sorgue, which isn't easy to do last minute in September. We especially enjoyed Le Jardin du Quai. Only a four course with no choices at 52 Euros pp. We enjoyed it so much we ate there our last two nights.
The ”resort” is in an old Carmelite building that has had refurbishment. It is more rustic Provencal than contemporary. There is an outside covered fairly extensive exercise room, a nice pool, and a very peaceful feel outside on the property. The bees at breakfast were bothersome but nobody got stung and they seemed benign.
The clientele was international, but more than 1/2 French. Pascal speaks and understands English well.
Les Carmes is quite different than most other places in the region. It reminds me a bit of the Golden ages of travel in the 1950s. It is the opposite of sterile and has a real heart and center.
GGuest UserMy stay at the Anantara Plaza Nice Hotel, nestled in Nice’s Carré d’Or, was pure bliss. Just steps from the Promenade des Anglais, the location is unbeatable. My Deluxe room was incredibly spacious, big, and super comfy, with a plush bed and sleek marble bathroom. The staff, were warm and attentive, making every moment seamless. Pet-friendly perks and a fair-trade espresso machine added a special touch. This elegant, modern haven is a Riviera gem—I’m already dreaming of my next visit! 🤩
FFIR501I stayed one night in Antibes. The hotel room wasn't big, but it had a balcony and a rather small communal swimming pool. It was conveniently located between the old town and the train station, both within walking distance. I was quite satisfied with the breakfast.
