Ideal for families with children; there are numerous children's activities. The kids club is small but has general facilities and functions; it is not open all day, two or three hours in the morning or two or three hours in the afternoon. The new children's pool is great, not big but it is hard for families with baby. After all, there is a large pool next to it.

If you need a low-key luxury holiday manor in English countryside, Chewton Glen is the best choice! The hotel is located in the south of England by the sea, close to Southampton. The area is oversized, it takes 45 minutes to walk in a complete circle, a large lawn garden and forest, friends who like nature will definitely like it. The main building is a quaint three-story complex, with a strong British gentleman style from the public area to the room. The guests who come to live feel basically retired and wealthy middle-aged couples in the UK, as well as families with children. There are not too many people living, and I feel that the service and guest ratio can reach 1:1, so I feel very private. The two restaurants in the hotel should be the best I have ever eaten in the UK, and each dish is very good because they are all made by Michelin chefs. The two days we went just in time for a Michelin chef who was famous for his British food show to make a special dinner, and it was also a Western-style dinner experience! In addition to the hotel's special indoor and outdoor pool and spa, there are also very professional golf courses, football fields, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, and cricket courts! 20 minutes walk from the hotel to the beach, beautiful scenery! The hotel's service staff is very warm and thoughtful, with a strong English butler style. Although the price is a bit expensive, the experience is very much beyond expectations!

The room looks at the yacht port. It is recommended to open a room that can see the Atlantic side. The scenery is good. You have to tell the front desk. In the early morning, there was a motorcycle blasting street, the bar downstairs was noisy, and I was prepared. Breakfast was on the sixth floor. You can see a good view. The small town of Southampton is not seen. It is not recommended to stay in this city. It is recommended to live in Portsmouth next door.

Can’t fault a thing, really lovely place to stay with little ones. They really looked after us with special touches, including a stunning play area and bedtime milk and cookies

Fantastic hotel. Stayed for 2 nights business and 2 nights leisure for a friends wedding.  Hotel staff very accomadating! Amazing food! Try the pie! You won’t regret it!  Thanks for a great stay.  Ideal local with a short walk into the city centre.

Excellent service, as always. Good gym facilities and pool. Changing rooms being refurbished but robes are provided instead. Beautiful room - I was upgraded to a suite on this particular stay. Great location, convenient to M3. I stay here regularly and it never disappoints. Also very good value for money.

A repeat visit to Norton Park Spa Hotel. I really enjoy the peaceful location with beautiful grounds where you can walk through woodland or sit on a swing gazing out at the lake. The spa is perfectly acceptable - no idea why some have left bad reviews. Great sauna and steam room, plus real ice pile and strong, cold (or hot) shower available close to these two facilities which is great extra. Pool is big enough to swim laps (not just a token effort) and there are couple of heated, tiled loungers pool side too. I treated myself to a treatment of back massage and full body exfoliation with oil application, which was absolutely wonderful. Relaxation room after the treatment was welcome touch. I have used spas across the world at top hotels and this was up there with the best. Restaurant is really high quality, certainly above my expectations of British hotel catering. The breakfast buffet has everything you could require - although it is self-service on the tea/coffee which I'd rather have served to table - plus you can order extras for free, like poached eggs and porridge, which are then cooked to order. There are also some pay-for extras if required. Dinner was even more fantastic - have eaten there four times in two stays and cannot fault.

I was a little bit disappointed staying at the Apollo hotel when I booked, i booked it for two adults and one child and when I got there there was only a double bed, they told me they would put in a single bed for me whilst I was out and when I got back to the hotel at 8:30pm there still wasn’t a bed they eventually at 10pm gave me a camp bed with springs missing for my four-year-old to sleep on I wasn’t happy, so in the end I ended up sleeping on the floor so my daughter could have the bed with her dad, it’s a real shame to see a hotel that I stayed in when I got married has gone downhill, there was a lot of dirty trays in the corridors on the way to the room, but on entrance of the hotel was beautiful,

Nice, comfortable and very friendly hotel. Huge double bed. All rooms are very clean. A car park is very close to the hotel ( walk out of the hotel door, across the road and your in the carpark.

The room is clean and have enough space for three of us. We can see the Ageas Bowl just in front of our window. The shower is strong enough to eliminate the fatigue. Recommend.
