"Our stay at Taj Gandhinagar was a mixed experience. While the food was decent, it didn’t particularly stand out. The biggest issue we faced was with the electricity—there were frequent power disruptions, which caused the air conditioning to turn off multiple times throughout the night. As a result, we had to wake up at least five times just to switch it back on, making it quite difficult to get a restful sleep. For a hotel of this caliber, we expected a much smoother experience in terms of basic amenities."

Guest UserThis hotel is really well located and its spanking clean. Food is excellent and breakfast is fantastic! Staff are ultra friendly. ALL our requests were fulfilled, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was big and with plenty of space to store everything! We even met a famous Bollywood singer one evening! There’s a well equipped gym and a swimming pool, hairdresser, and great spa! 😍

Mandira_SamantaThe hotel is under renovation and the entire property (including rooms) smells of toxic paint. There was no information about this renovation on the website while making the booking. The heavy solvent smell gave me a headache and the stay was very unplesant.

Guest UserThe hotel is at a great location on a vital highway between Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. Rooms are decent sized. Not sprawling, but comfortable nevertheless. The breakfast spread was decent. The coffee shop at the breakfast station serves great coffees. A special mention to the housekeeping services who ensured my room was cleaned and stocked each day. It means a lot to return to a well made bed and a room that's clean. Check in and check out were a breeze.

Generally the experience was still not bad. The front desk staff was trying her best to be as much help possible during the stay.
I had wifi issue they even end up decided to give me an individual dialed-up router. What a wonderful service. 10/10 for that
But however there are a lot of things seems unorganize... few of the tea break staff and lunch time staff seems clueless on what to do...
No one is willing to serve and they had no idea what to do when a guest wanted to order something. Its just a complimentary tea - breakkkkk....
Room wise and facility it was quite ok. Room is decent clean... gym room is well equipped too.
They are now still going through renovation, hopefully it only gets better from here.
Breakfast choices was decent and with good quality of dosa. Would give the Chef 9/10 rating.
Overall still a rather pleasant stay. will consider coming again when i am around

I have stayed in Marriott hotels which are known for Excellence But unfortunately this one in Amdavad India is a let down in every department
Hygiene particularly needs urgent attention
Staff are helpful
Breakfast is average
I have not much to write
This hotel to be called a Marriott need a lot upgrading

Everything was great and my only disappointment was that the room was in a dark corridor with windows into that corridor. We had no light or windows to allow light in. The room itself was well appointed and very large. The staff were amazing and if we were staying longer I would have requested a different room.

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of the resort everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.
