All the staff were friendly and helpful. To be highlighted are the reception and restaurant. The outdoor area, including the animals that appeared regularly, was very interesting and had something of a safari and holiday feel about it. The rooms, especially the bathrooms, need to be renovated and modernized. But nothing was missing here either. The food selection was sufficient, but could be a little more extensive (fruit, cheese), especially at breakfast.

Amazing experience. Excellent food, clean and comfortable accommodations. The safari was amazing. I saw many different animals and the experience exceeded my expectations. I saw lions, giraffes, monkeys, baboons, zebras, and the list goes on. It was so fun!!

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of an organised trip. The welcome area and dining room were well set out and the pool area was lovely. The food was very varied but was overall average - breakfast was the best meal. Our room was in need of an update. The chairs were dirty, we placed towels on the chairs so we could sit; the bed needed a new mattress and was very uncomfortable and the drain in our bathroom was blocked - although they did manage to get it unblocked so we could shower without wading through water on our second night. I am aware that we were in rural Kenya, but as it is a large chain hotel I think they could do better.

I stayed in Nakuru lodge for the second time 26th to 28th of December 2023. It is a wonderful place, so calm and quiet with a fantastic view over the park and the lake. But you can also sit in the bar or at the swimming pool if you are into more festive arrangements. The staff is overall professional and very kind and after sunset there are guards ready to show you the way to the restaurant . The food is really excellent. The rooms spacious and with a perfect balcony where I spent one beautiful afternoon after a good day of game drive. The bed was good and the bathroom also very spacious. The room and bathroom clean. If possible I would give four and an half stars because the rooms need a bit of paint and maintenance- it’s a bit worn out, the same for the bed sheets. The restaurant is beautiful and the service impeccable. You feel very welcome immediately.
