The hotel is very conveniently located, close to major tourist attractions, and connected by a skywalk to a shopping mall with a food court and a market. There's a wonderful view from the window. The room had everything needed: slippers, towels, bathrobes, toiletries, tea/coffee. It featured soundproofing, blackout curtains, and firm beds. Breakfast offered traditional Myanmar, Indian, Chinese, and European cuisines. It was pleasant to relax in the pool and, in the evening, in the cozy bar. The staff was incredibly polite and extremely friendly.

Friendly staff and very clean interior. Well-maintained swimming pool. The drinks at the lobby restaurant are hit-or-miss, but the food is delicious. Pros: 1. Extremely friendly staff. 2. Well-maintained swimming pool (including locker rooms, showers, restrooms, etc.). 3. Convenient with a convenience store and restaurant on the G floor. 4. Excellent access to major tourist attractions (train station, Bogyoke Market, theaters, Shwedagon Pagoda, etc.). 5. Good Wi-Fi! Cons: 1. Hotel pick-up and drop-off service is expensive.

1. The hotel rooms are very clean. 2. The bathroom didn't smell very clean. 3. In the morning, I get to smoke because the room next door smokes and the smell comes through the air conditioning vents.

I commend all staff for your excellent service and attention to detail. You maintain the high standards of Myanmar hospitality, and I thank you all. In particular, I really loved the view of Shwedagon Pagoda from my room. You have an excellent location as well, and the breakfast is hearty and satisfying. Every time I visit Myanmar, I stay here. I've probably accumulated at least two months of stays over time. However, I've never received a complimentary room upgrade, regardless of whether it's high or low season. They really need to work on customer loyalty. This time, there was extremely loud banging and drumming going on at the hotel.

Chatruim Lake View Hotel was a superb experience - I stayed here twice for about 8 days in total. The process from Check in to check out was second to none. We loved the hotel grounds, big rooms with a lake view, the breakfast was great too with a good selection of food.  The service from the bellboy to reception I can't really complain as they responded to all our requests. We checked out early for a flight to Mandalay and they provided us with a packed lunch. The pool facilities were great - alhough I think the water needs a bit of chlorine for cleaning as it was a bit musky - The hotel was nice and quiet with not too many guest, but service was still there. I'd like to mention the receptionist who is always smiling and so kind and welcoming and listening to our travel stories and requests - La Min and Mr Simon were so helpful, but I can't remember the other names. One thing to note- if you don't have a car, then it's not that central to the center of the city, however, you can easily take a Grab to Shwedagon Pagoda or the center, you can also walk to Kandagwyi Lake Graden and enjoy the sunset - which is only a 15 min walk and there is a mall there, too with a great supermarket. If you need to change money - the hotel recommended 126 Grocery Store - great rates no passport needed just new crisp USD notes. It's near Myanmar Plaza. I will definitely stay there again. We stayed in the Lake View but if you prefer the morning sun on your balcony then you can take the Pagoda view.  There is a presendential suite if you have the cash which I was told has a good overall top floor view. I hope you enjoy your stay. This was definitely much better than the Chatruim in Bangkok

I was very satisfied with my stay at this hotel for my business trip. The lobby was clean and grand, and the staff were professional and courteous, responding promptly to requests. The room was spacious with excellent natural light, and spotlessly clean. The mattress was just right, ensuring a good night's sleep. The internet was stable, more than sufficient for work, and there was 24-hour hot water. The surrounding area has convenient transportation and complete amenities, yet it's quiet and not noisy, making it ideal for business travelers. Overall, the experience was comfortable and hassle-free. It's definitely worth staying here again.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The room was clean, and the location is good. But most important is the staff. All of them are so friendly and always ready to help you. Always smiling. I heard this hotel is a must-stay for Chinese travelers. It's conveniently located close to the airport, and everything inside has Chinese signs. The front desk staff also speak Chinese, which made me feel very at ease. My only complaint is the inconsistent pricing; it seems booking later is sometimes cheaper than booking early.

Excellent hotel in Yangon 😎 everything was top-notch—the rooms, service, and housekeeping 🫶. There's also a wonderful rooftop bar with amazing city views 👍.
