"The hotel isn't brand new, but it's clean and very comfortable. The rooms are spacious, the bed linen is spotless, and everything you need is provided, including pool towels. Yes, there's a canal or river nearby with a bit of a smell, but you couldn't smell it in the rooms or by the pool at all. It didn't bother us or cause any issues. The breakfasts are superb, highly recommend them – a great selection and everything is delicious. We also tried the buffet lunch and dinner, priced at 400 and 500 pesos respectively. It's Filipino cuisine and very tasty; we really enjoyed it. The hotel has its own parking, which came in handy as we rented a car. We also went for a foot massage at the spa, highly recommended at 600 pesos per hour. The staff are friendly and helped with everything. There's a free airport transfer service, just make sure to book in advance. Honestly, I don't understand the low ratings for this hotel. It's a decent place with good service."

"Excellent rooms and bathroom, although the bar bathrooms were ok I guess... Amazing view from the 2 infinity pools and the location near the beach was perfect. Our Butler, Ate Georgina was very kind and helpful. She even gave us a hike to her hometown and the food there was awesome! The only downside was that we came a few days after a hurricane so some services were closed, though we were advised about the situation prior and we were okay with it. I recommend coming here on your holidays to the Philippines!"

The hotel experience exceeded my expectations! The complimentary airport pick-up service was a huge relief, and our driver, Raphael, was polite and professionally dressed. As a non-smoking hotel, the environment was wonderfully fresh (a 3000 peso deposit is required). The facilities are incredibly comprehensive: there's an ATM next to the elevator, an Italian restaurant called IL Morso and a coffee shop on the ground floor, and even a Japanese bar, Chilo, on the fourth floor. You can even book in-room spa services, so there's no need to leave the hotel! The room had an amazing view directly facing the volcano. The only minor drawback was some traffic noise at night, as my room was street-facing. I'd recommend requesting an inner room if possible. Overall, it's a convenient and comfortable stay in Daraga.

We stayed at Misibis Baygarden Resort from July 11–13 and had a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience. The resort offers a peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings — perfect for unwinding. There was a minor issue with my request for unscented linens and no air freshener due to allergies, which wasn’t addressed at first, but the staff quickly made up for it by upgrading us to another room, which we appreciated. One area for improvement would be the internet service, which was quite unreliable during our stay. Overall, it was still a pleasant experience, and we look forward to coming back

The Mayon view from The Oriental Legazpi was truly beautiful, and I appreciate that my request for an upper room with a view was granted. However, the overall stay was disappointing. The staff were not very approachable, restaurant service was poor, water was not readily offered, and we were even told to call the staff when we were ready to order. There was also loud noise from a lobby photoshoot, weak water pressure in the shower that took around 30 minutes to resolve, broken tiles and visible maintenance issues, no menu list in the room, and the breakfast buffet felt rushed even before the stated closing time. The view is excellent, but good view alone is not enough. Guests pay not only for scenery, but also for service, comfort, cleanliness, maintenance, and basic hospitality. If not because of the Mayon view, I would not return.

Money well spent. Breakfast buffet is amazing. Pool’s great! You can leave your bags it’s secured. There was a problem with the keycard and they fixed it right away. There’s 3 of us and they made another bed.

Great experience overall. Very beautiful place specially the beach. I wasn't able to try the gym because we stayed just for an overnight stay to travel somewhere. The food we ordered is szechuan beef. It is so spicy, not a normal spicy, but inedible spicy. We tried to eat it because it's already there but it's really intolerable. Everything is a pleasant experience except that specific food.

Casablanca Suites Near Airport

Location: it is less than a kilometre away from the bus terminal and SM Legazpi. It also has a picturesque view of the Mayon Volcano on rooms facing the Main Street. Although this Casa Blanca Suites is listed as near airport, it is in fact almost 10km away from the Daraga airport. It is near the old airport which is now being used by the Philippine Air Force. Still not so far and is accessible using Grab service.
