Nice hotel definitely not a 5* level. Big spaces and all facilities are there but overall it looks old and need refurbishing. Food good but basic. Room must be surely upgraded. There is no coffee machine but only boiler. I see it more as a corporate hotel rather than a place where enjoy your free time.

The hotel was conveniently located close to the main things to se in the city. The hotel lobby was very nice and the staff friendly.  Our room was very comfortable and clean.  The bed was comfortable and made for a very nice nights sleep.  The room location was a little strange with the window overlooking the inside of the hotel across the lobby.  Not really an issue as I was not staying in the hotel for the view however if this is something that would bother you, i would ask for an outward facing window I would recommend this hotel should you be in Hail for a night or two.

My wife and I stayed as part of an organized tour group for only one night. When we arrived, we had a late lunch at the restaurant. The buffet was ok, with standard Arabic and some Western food. The restaurant was very clean and the service was good. When we checked into the room, we were given a “standard king size non-smoking room”. Just because there were no ash trays in the room most definitely does not make a “non-smoking” room. It got even worse when the mini-split a/c unit was turned on as it reaked of cigarette smoke and was very noisy. There was only one towel and one floor mat in the shower. I called, the front desk and no one answered, so I went to reception myself in person to request more towels. Housekeeping arrived about 10 minutes later. The carpet was sticky and smelled, but the bed was comfortable. After touring further, we returned for dinner. Again it good with good service. There was very little soundproofing as we could hear everything in the hallway anytime someone passed by enroute to the elevator. Not even the noisy a/c unit could drown the noise out. Needless to say, we didn’t sleep well. In the morning, we had an early breakfast which was good with good service. No wifi. In my opinion, this did not meet the Golden Tulip brand standards. I’m sorry to say that I will not stay here should I return to Hail. If the rooms were at the same standard as the lobby and dining area, it would be acceptable.

Apartment-style with a living room and bedroom. Beautiful early morning mountain view and extremely helpful staff. The apartment's central heating did not work so they gave us a portable oil heater for the bedroom.
