The hotel is very clean and convenient, close to the river walk and many restaurants. There are two malls nearby within a 10 min walk. I stayed here with my family and we had a great time
Will definitely stay there again.

Unreasonable charges! ! !
Originally this was a hotel with no merits. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The key was the location, which was not far from the art museum and the Natural History Museum. There was nothing special about it. Breakfast was average, with fruit but no vegetable salad. But leaving the checkout left me feeling confused and even worse. After breakfast on the first day, the male waiter asked me to sign the bill. I said my room included breakfast, but the waiter said it didn't matter. I just had to sign and the front desk would know. I signed it, it was $52 for two people. The next day, we also chose the buffet for breakfast, and the waitress brought us each a glass of apple juice. I got the bill before I left, put down the order and left. I signed it without even looking at it. Signing an order without looking carefully is a hard lesson! ! ! When I checked out, I found that there was an extra $30, so I asked what the price was. The front desk said it was a breakfast tip on the 5th. I said I was eating from the buffet, but the waiter just poured me two glasses of apple juice without me giving a tip. Is she going to take the initiative to write a $20 tip on the bill? Is this reasonable? I can pay the money, because it’s my fault that I didn’t read the bill and signed it, so I have to acknowledge the bill. But I just want to ask him if this is reasonable? The front desk called the restaurant manager. The manager didn't say it was a tip. He said I chose a set meal and they would charge something else. This is absolutely hilarious! The order typed out to me clearly stated gratuity. I will never go to any Omni Hotel again! Too confusing! Ctrip customer service communicated with them, but they still insisted on their approach.
The room was neat, quiet and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast included omelets and meat patties, and the yogurt and milk were of good quality, which was considered good among American breakfasts! But the room smelled of perfume or aromatherapy, which was not very accustomed to! The location was in a small alley, and there was a bar on the corner, so I was a little worried about going in and out at night. It was about an 8-minute walk from the river walk, and there was a popular BBQ restaurant along the way. It was about a 13-minute walk to the Alamo Museum. A very cost-effective hotel!
Facilities: The hotel facilities are very complete, there is a restaurant, there is a gym and so on. The restaurant is rich in dishes and tastes good!
Hygiene: The hotel is clean and tidy!
Environment: The hotel has an elegant environment, complete surrounding facilities and convenient transportation.
Service: The hotel service is warm and thoughtful.
Breakfast is rich, there are all kinds of bread cakes, waffles, drinks, yogurt, milk, cola and other drinks, as well as fruits, extra beds and the front desk, suitable for children, free parking

**A Perfect Stay from Start to Finish** I recently had the pleasure of staying at Westin in The Woodlands and I can confidently say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with warm smiles and top-notch service that made me feel right at home. **The Rooms:** The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and tastefully decorated with modern amenities. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the linens were of high quality. I appreciated the attention to detail, from the complimentary bottled water to the luxurious toiletries. The view from my room was breathtaking, offering a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. **The Amenities:** The hotel’s amenities were equally impressive. The on-site restaurant served a delicious breakfast each morning with a wide variety of options to suit every palate. The fitness center was well-equipped, and the pool area was a tranquil oasis where I spent a few relaxing afternoons. The free Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which was perfect for both work and leisure. **The Service:** What truly sets Westin apart is the outstanding service. Every staff member I encountered went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. Whether it was providing excellent dining recommendations or accommodating a last-minute request, the team was always friendly, professional, and genuinely eager to help. **Location:** The location is ideal, situated in the heart of the city yet tucked away enough to offer a peaceful retreat. It’s within walking distance to major attractions, shopping areas, and fantastic dining spots, making it incredibly convenient for both leisure and business travelers. **Overall Experience:** My experience at Westin The Woodlands was nothing short of exceptional. It’s rare to find a place that combines comfort, luxury, and outstanding service so seamlessly. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area, and I look forward to returning on my next trip. --- Feel free to personalize the review with specific details about the hotel!
Beautiful view from our hotel room ❤️ would stay here again only problem was there was some teens who were going through my laundry when I went back down to laundry room. And I ended up having some clothes missing.
We upgraded to have breakfast for $60. The hotel upgrade is to executive and free appetizer. So we got 4 free appetizers for free. Perfect location in downtown Houston. We”ll stay again next time. Their breakfast are really good as well
Upon arrival, the welcome was genuine. It didn't give you that uppity, too posh feeling. The valet was pricey but much better than self parking. We were greeted with a glass if champagne upon checkin. Checkin was smooth with no waiting. Our balcony room was nice and clean. It was a bit of a walk. The hotel itself is a lot bigger than it appears to be from the outside. The ballroom and conference rooms are spacious and equipped. Love the fireplaces throughout facility. The pools are beautifully done especially one being at 85 degrees in the winter time. It was sunny and cold but families were enjoying the heated pool. The lobby bar, the restaurants and the fire pits give you that scenic, rustic, resorty style all while being right there on Frisco, TX. Can't wait to return in the spring/summer.
I have stayed at this hotel multiple times, my most recent visit was an exception to the rule of excellent. We arrived to our room and a horrible smell of sewage hit us even my daughters didn't wanna go in the room. I called guest services and they had a valet switch our rooms in about 5 minutes and even upgraded us to a better room. Which I wasn't expecting but made up for that weird moment. Other than that our other stays are always pleasant and now I know if something goes wrong they'll go above and beyond to fix it! We've also visited the restaurants and they are a good place to eat and the location for us is 100% the best. Employees are also always friendly and helpful. Will recommend and continue to stay here in the future
Very short stay, unplanned overnight stay due to our flight being cancelled. Arriving at hotel maybe 12:30am. Depart on 5am courtesy van. Room was clean, quiet and nice. Sheets & bed great. Waited for pick up after midnight, almost 1 hours, then a competing hotel van driver offered to drop us off for a few bucks. We jumped at the offer. Hotel van runs once per hour for the return to DFW. I mean seriously, once per hour, are you serious? So our flight was 7am, so do you take a 5am van or 6am van. We took the 5am van, we were in the lobby at 4:45, got the last 2 seats on the van with my wife sitting on my lap, and I’m 75. So that van is a bit ridiculous, ruined a rather nice hotel experience.
Always love coming here! Great service, amenities always in working order, and my room was clean, quiet and comfortable with a lovely view! Bartenders make the best drinks! Can't wait for my next stay
