Baháʼí Garden Haifa
Baháʼí Garden Haifa is located on Mount Carmel, known as the "Mountain of God." It is a holy site for the Baháʼí Faith and the resting place of the Báb, a prophet of the Baháʼí Faith. The entire garden is centered around the Shrine of the Báb and features 18 symmetrical terraced gardens of varying heights. Stretching nearly 1 km from the top of the mountain to the foot, it appears to be suspended in mid-air when viewed from a distance. Large parts of Israel are arid or semi-arid desert regions.
