The canal cuts through the hard rock of the isthmus, directly connecting the Saronic Gulf on the Aegean Sea side with the Gulf of Corinth on the Ionian Sea side, allowing ships to cross this narrow strip of land without having to sail around the Peloponnese peninsula. The canal is approx. 6 km long, the waterway is at sea level with no locks, showcasing the ingenuity of its construction and adding a breathtaking sight to the coastal landscape of Greece. Navagio Beach Viewpointis located on the northwest coast of Zakynthos, Greece, and is a classic spot for enjoying a panoramic view of Navagio. With its open view and elevated position, you can take in the entire outline of the bay, the white pebble beach, the rusted shipwreck, and the rich, layered shades of blue water. Looking down from near the viewpoint, the bay is surrounded on three sides by nearly vertical white limestone cliffs. The massive cliffs rise from the coast, showcasing a rugged and spectacular landscape. Below the cliffs, a white pebble beach stretches along the bay, and the shipwreck, stranded for years, rests quietly on the shore. The rusted hull creates a striking contrast with the surrounding pristine natural scenery. The charm of the viewpoint also lies in the changing light and shadows throughout the day. On clear days, the sunlight makes the colors of the water even more vibrant, and the white cliffs and blue sea create a strong contrast, making it perfect for taking classic panoramic photos.Greece · Elation

Navagiois located on the northwest coast of Zakynthos, Greece, and is one of the iconic natural views on the Ionian Sea. The bay is surrounded on three sides by towering, steep cliffs and faces the vast open sea, forming a secluded coast that feels like a hidden paradise. The breathtaking scenery here is defined by the massive white limestone cliffs that surround the beach. The cliffs rise nearly vertically to a height of about 200m, displaying rugged and layered textures shaped by years of erosion from sea winds and waves. The stark white cliffs contrast sharply with the fine, light-colored sand in the bay, outlining a natural crescent-shaped coast. Standing in the bay and looking up, it feels as if you are in a massive open-air theater carved by nature, which is both spectacular and serene.Greece · Elation

Delphi. According to legend, Zeus released two eagles, which flew east and west respectively, and finally met at Delphi, which is also the center of the world. In addition, another miracle is Apollo's oracle, which can be verified by the existing remains of the Apollo Sanctuary and the Athena Sanctuary!

This was taken on the Acropolis: Temple of Victory (Figure 3), Parthenon (Figure 5. Still under renovation), Erechtheion (Figures 4 and 5), Dionysus Theatre, Atticus Theatre. The guided tour I bought a day in advance was very good. We set off at 5pm, just as the sun was about to set. It was not hot at all, and there were not many tourists. The tour guide was a historian, and the content he introduced along the way was very detailed. Including the story behind the construction of the Acropolis Museum, the trees on the Acropolis Hill, the Acropolis has experienced several disasters and historical changes, Athens' efforts in the field of international recovery of cultural relics (to the British Museum), the story of Dionysus, the god of medicine, the goddess of war, the goddess of wisdom, and the three main gods Poseidon. Another surprise is that there are so many cats in the Acropolis! They are the only guests who can enter and exit the temple at will. The staff will regularly put cat food for the stray cats.

We stopped in Zakynthos on our drive to Athens. The narrow, man-made canal, with its towering, steep cliffs, is visually stunning. Standing on the bridge, the cliffs appear nearly 100 meters high – truly breathtaking. We arrived late, so we missed the daytime blue-green waters, but the warm, dusky lights illuminating the banks and the long, narrow canal stretching into the distance created a captivating atmosphere. We were still awestruck by the magnificent sight. No need to take a special detour; a short stop off the highway is perfect for sightseeing and definitely worth stopping for.

Did Korean dramas make this place popular? Fortunately, I went there before. However, because this is not a conventional beach with convenient transportation, it is basically reached by boat. Generally speaking, there are not many people. There is no commercial development here. There are no services such as drinks, meals and sunshades, so tourists will not stay for too long. For this reason, the sand and stones on the beach are all original, not the kind of very fine artificial sand. However, although it is not big and cannot provide additional services, it is still one of the most beautiful beaches, especially in sunny weather, it is so beautiful

The ancient city of Mycenae, located between Argos and Corinth in the northern Peloponnese peninsula of Greece, is a Bronze Age Aegean civilization site. Highlights: ① Lion Gate: The northwest entrance to the ancient city, built from massive stones weighing 120 tons. The lintel features a double lion relief, symbolizing royal power. It is one of the earliest examples of relief architecture in Europe, showcasing megalithic construction techniques. ② Gold Mask and Burial Site: The "Agamemnon Gold Mask" unearthed from pit burial site A, crafted using the hammered stone technique, reflects funerary culture.

The "Pan-Hellenic Sanctuary" is a complex structure outside the city-state politics, providing all Greeks with the only way to know themselves in a religious sense. It is said that the entrance to the Temple of Apollo is engraved with the motto "Know yourself". During the period from the middle of the 8th century BC to the middle of the 7th century BC, the worship of Apollo gained a high reputation because he was the patron saint of the colonial cause that was in full swing at the time. In 373 BC, an earthquake severely damaged the buildings of the sanctuary, which played a decisive role in its fate. It was in the second half of the 4th century BC that, while it was undergoing arduous restoration, Greece experienced political turmoil, and the sanctuary gradually declined. Since the Roman rule in the 1st century AD, no new buildings have appeared in the sanctuary. In 392 AD, the Roman Emperor Theodosius I issued an edict prohibiting pagan beliefs. The oracle was worshiped in the 15th century, marking the end of the worship of Apollo. The site of the sanctuary was occupied by a village in the early AD and was rediscovered in the 15th century. The operation of the oracle has undergone many changes in history. According to one of the most authoritative witnesses, Plutarch, who was once a priest of the temple, in his time (1st century AD) there was only one prophetess in the temple, who was requested once a month; earlier, during the heyday of the ritual, three priestesses were required to take turns to cope with the long queue of requests. In another temple of Apollo, the oracle was transmitted to the prophet's spirit only through thoughts, which allowed him/her to play more freely. In the Christian era, John Chrysostom believed that Pythia was a woman possessed by the devil, which drilled into the prophetess from the depths of the earth under the tripod. Every year, when Apollo left, there was no oracle, which resulted in countless believers waiting for the oracle to reopen. Therefore, the temple priests had the right to arrange priority for participating in the ceremony (Προμαντεία / promanteia). Participants first presented appropriate gifts to the god, and then the priests poured some cold water on a goat. If it did not tremble, it was considered a bad omen and the ceremony would not proceed; if the worshiper was accepted, the goat would be offered, and he could enter the temple to ask the prophetess a question. Of course, whether the question was answered or not depended on the will of the god.
