Sri Bhoga Nandishwara Gudi is an ancient Hindu temple located at the foot of Nandi Hills in the Chikkaballapur district of Karnataka, India, in Nandi village. This temple is considered one of the oldest in Karnataka, built in the early 9th century during the rule of the Nolamba dynasty. The temple's architectural style blends Dravidian and Nolambavadi styles, embodying the essence of South Indian architectural art. The temple complex mainly consists of two core shrines. The northern shrine was built by the Western Ganga dynasty in the early 9th century in the Dravidian style, and its interior features a separate hall enshrining the idol of Ardhanarishvara. The southern shrine was added by the Chola dynasty in the 11th century, and its vimana structure was clearly influenced by Chola architectural techniques.
