Things to do in Baoting

If you're tired of the sea in Sanya, this is a good place to change things up. A package ticket including activities is a good deal for a family of three; both stream tracing and zip-lining are quite fun. However, it's not cost-effective if you're only bringing elderly people. The 180 yuan senior ticket doesn't include any activities; it's more like visiting a large park, so I wouldn't recommend bringing seniors here.

I personally felt it was excellent and suitable for bringing children. I visited in September, and there were almost no people inside; there were more staff than tourists, so it took half a day to finish all the rides.

Qixianling is perfect for hiking and connecting with nature. We hiked the entire way up, skipping the last 100 meters due to thunder and rain, but the whole trip was still very enjoyable. I highly recommend the rafting at the end; it's a perfect finishing touch to the trip. My legs were sore for days after the hike, but it was a happy kind of pain.

Hongxia Valley Rafting (Recommended): A national 4A-level scenic area, the entire course is 3.8 kilometers long with a drop of over 80 meters. It gets its name from the yellowish-red rocks. The banks are densely forested, providing minimal sun exposure throughout the rafting trip. The facilities are well-developed, making it suitable for thrill-seekers who want a comfortable experience.

A very small scenic spot. Compared with the crowded commercial attractions such as Binlang Valley and Yanoda during the Spring Festival, it is like a paradise. There is no shortage of lakes and mountains, no noisy various entertainment projects, only infinite and moving natural scenery. This place is suitable for people who enjoy the quiet and natural beauty. However, as a scenic spot, it is slightly small and can be visited slowly in half a day. Next time I come, I will definitely choose to stay here.

The Qixianling Global Tropical Fruit Expo Center is amazing! It boasts a comprehensive selection of rare tropical fruits, as well as a unique durian mother tree landscape. The park is exquisitely planned, offering immersive picking experiences, educational tours, and a rich, fragrant atmosphere – a truly unforgettable visit!

Thrilling attractions: The Thrill Ride, Leap of Faith, Angry Sea Roller Coaster, and Whirlwind Horn offer a strong sense of weightlessness, perfect for water enthusiasts; the Shark Slide through the transparent shark tank is great for taking photos. Family-friendly attractions: Water play areas, Ocean Empire children's water park, Rapid River Lazy River, and wave pool offer fun for children and adults alike, making it a great place for the whole family to spend a whole day.

The Atlantis Aquarium in Sanya is absolutely stunning! The enormous Lost Chambers aquarium makes you feel like you're in an underwater world, with over 86,000 marine creatures swimming in 13,500 tons of natural seawater. The beluga whale interaction is incredibly therapeutic, the jellyfish area is dreamy and beautiful, and every shot in the underwater tunnel is a masterpiece. It's definitely worth the ticket price for a family trip; you can learn something new and experience the wonders of the ocean. Highly recommended!

The Lost Chambers Aquarium at Atlantis Sanya was a fantastic experience! The theme of a lost underwater city created a truly immersive atmosphere. The Ambassador Lagoon's giant screen was breathtaking, with sharks, manta rays, and schools of fish swimming right before your eyes. The mermaid show and feeding show were excellent, especially for the kids. The venue was clean, the indoor area was sun-protected, and there was even a touch pool where you could get up close to starfish. It's perfect for families, and the photos turn out beautifully. I highly recommend checking show times in advance before you go!
