Things to do in Beerwah

My biggest takeaway from this trip to the Australia Zoo is: arrive early, or you'll definitely miss the 1:30 pm crocodile show! The Crocoseum area is very crowded, so it's best to arrive at least half an hour early to secure a good spot. The crocodile show is spectacular, and the zookeepers' explanations are excellent. Seeing the crocodiles up close is incredibly impressive; missing it would be a real shame. The kangaroo experience is also a big plus. You can walk into the kangaroo enclosure, get up close to the kangaroos, squat down to gently feed them, and take photos. They are mostly very docile. However, please follow the park rules: don't chase or try to hold them.

This is a forest. There is a coffee shop at the entrance and a natural museum. Go through the back door of the museum and you will enter the natural forest. There are small kangaroos, turkeys, snakes and other wild animals. The whole journey is not very far and suitable for children. And the scenery when you go up the mountain is also super beautiful, with pastures and manors on both sides.

Not a must to visit but still worth going for a leisury scroll if you have the time. Its a modest aquarium with interesting creatures. Quite educational.
