SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium

SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium is located at Darling Harbour in Sydney and features marine life native to Australia. The aquarium houses multiple interactive themed zones, showcasing hundreds of aquatic species from marine and freshwater environments across Australia, including many iconic species unique to the country. Shark Valley is one of the aquarium's core exhibition areas, where visitors can walk through a transparent underwater tunnel with nurse sharks, wobbegongs, and giant smooth rays swimming slowly overhead. The Penguin Expedition area is home to king penguins and gentoo penguins; visitors can ride a small boat through simulated sub-Antarctic ice and snow, observe penguins up close on the ice and in the water, and watch the keepers feed the penguins several times a day. The Day and Night Coral Reef exhibition area is themed around the 24-hour ecological changes of the Great Barrier Reef, using interactive technology to present the different life dynamics of the coral reef between day and night; it is home to the Napoleon fish—a peculiar reef fish that can change from female to male as it grows. The Southern Coast Shipwreck area is home to little penguins, and these tiny penguins darting through the water and waddling on the sand are much loved by visitors. The aquarium is also home to a rescued dugong, one of the few captive dugongs in the world. In addition, areas such as Jurassic Seas and the Rocky Shore Touch Pool each have their own distinctive features; in the touch pool area, visitors can explore intertidal creatures such as starfish, sea cucumbers, and crabs. For visitors seeking a deeper experience, the aquarium also offers programs such as shark diving, where you can swim alongside large marine life such as nurse sharks and rays in a cage-free environment.Sydney · 32.9 km from Bungarribee

Located in Darling Harbour, adjacent to the Sydney Aquarium and Madame Tussauds, Sydney Wildlife Park is a compact zoo in the heart of Sydney with mainly indoor exhibits. It focuses on showcasing native Australian animals and has a single route that can be explored in about two hours. You can see five of Australia's iconic animals here: kangaroos, koalas, wombats, platypuses, and crocodiles. The park is divided into several themed areas based on their natural habitats: the Kangaroo Walk is an open area where visitors can walk among the western grey kangaroos for close observation; the Koala Roof is the park's signature attraction, where visitors can not only observe the kangaroos but also make reservations to enter the koala enclosure for photos or participate in a koala breakfast, enjoying a meal while watching the koalas eat in the early morning when they are most active; the Tasmanian Devil's Den is home to the Tasmanian devil, a critically endangered marsupial now mainly found in Tasmania; the Dane Tree Rainforest area is home to southern cassowaries, bush kangaroos, and satin bowerbirds; the Platypus Pool requires some patience, as these egg-laying mammals often hide among underwater branches; the Nocturnal Animal Area features lights in "night mode," where nocturnal creatures such as sugar gliders and bilbies are activity; there is also a freshwater crocodile pool, an area inhabited by echidnas and Old's tree kangaroos, and an insect box where spiders, stick insects, and giant snails gather, with snakes and lizards also scattered throughout. When visiting, be sure to pay attention to the time slots for zookeepers to buided commentary tours in each area. From the wombat "Ringo" to the cassowary "Princess," many animals have their own buided commentary, and you can hear the zookeepers sharing their habits and interesting stories. After you've finished exploring, the restaurants and pier landscape of Darling Harbour are within walking distance, making it a great place to plan a half-day city trip. △ Get up close and personal with adorable koalas △ Observe the adorable quokkas △ Get to know the giant freshwater crocodileSydney · 32.8 km from Bungarribee

A Zoo in the western Sydney district. The trip deal worth to try it. You can’t find elephants or giraffes but the rest assure you will see some other great wildlife.

It was good. Worth a visit. But kangaroos were not hoping around at the time we were there. They were all sleepy around 12/1 pm.

The theater isn't very large, so the view from the second floor was excellent, and the actors' performances were very lifelike, with very interesting dialogue. Plus, the theater has a beautiful terrace with floor-to-ceiling windows; I took some lovely photos there in the afternoon!

Amazing whale-watching experience in Sydney! 🐋I really enjoyed this experience from start to finish. The scenery and the whole environment were absolutely beautiful, and we were lucky enough to see a lot of whales! It was amazing watching them in their natural environment, and the experience was even better than I expected. Definitely a great activity to do while visiting Sydney, and I would happily recommend it to others!

Calmsley Hill City Farm is near to the heart of Sydney. It is a place where children and adults can enjoy a variety of exciting shows and exhibits including cow milking, stockman whip demos, sheep dog exhibits, sheep shearing demo, koala show, native fauna display, tractor train ride plus animal petting , birds, snakes and Texan long horn cattle to view. A nice place outside busy city life.

We visited the Sydney Tower Eye with my family and had a fantastic time. Booking our tickets through Trip.com was very easy, and there were a lot of different options available to choose from. I highly recommend going on a sunny day so you can get the most out of the views. Looking down at Hyde Park and the Anzac Memorial was a definite highlight. Highly recommended!

You can visit the zoo even if it rains. It's very clean and has koalas, kangaroos, various reptiles, and a variety of birds. It's quite close to the W Hotel. You can also explore Daling Island nearby.

I always check other people's reviews before each trip for reference and then add my own. Although it was peak season, the crowds weren't large at all, not even comparable to those in China. Just arrive 10-15 minutes before the cruise departure time; e-ticket verification is very quick. You can see the opera house, the harbor bridge, and the coastal residential areas, etc. It's definitely worth a visit!
