CalaMacarelleta Beach is a very beautiful beach in Menorca, very close to the town and very convenient for transportation. All kinds of parasols are inserted on the fine white sand, the color of the sea water is light and deep but crystal clear, and there are all kinds of wonderful water sports on the sea. During the peak season, you can see a row of boats densely tied to the water, which is very spectacular. It is recommended to climb the cliffs on both sides of the beach, and the view of the beach from here is intoxicating.Area Metropolitana de Ciutadella · 10.8 km from Ciutadella de Menorca

Menorca is located northeast of Majorca Island. The terrain is flat, with large areas of woodland covering the countryside. The island's signature is the prehistoric stone structures scattered throughout: the "Naveta" (megalithic burial chambers shaped like an overturned boat), the tower-like "Talayots," and the "T-shaped megaliths" found only on this island—a vertical pillar supporting a capstone, the purpose of which remains inconclusive, though it is often speculated to be related to rituals or stargazing. The entire island is therefore often described as an open-air museum. The Naveta d'Es Tudons at the western end of the island is well-preserved, and the boat-like outline formed by the stacked megaliths is still clearly discernible. The island's character lies in the differences between its two coastlines: the interior is flat, but the coast is often characterized by steep cliffs. The north coast is open and wind-swept, with beaches featuring pebbles and reddish-brown coarse sand. The sand around Cap de Cavalleria is reddish, contrasting sharply with the blue sea. The south coast, on the other hand, consists of bays with fine white sand beaches embraced by pine-covered cliffs. The ancient trail known as the "Camí de Cavalls" (Horse Path) connects beaches and headlands along the island's edge. Once used for coastal patrols and communication, it is now a classic route for hiking and cycling to enjoy the sea views. The island's architecture and flavors have a mixed vibe: there are snow-white Mediterranean-style houses, as well as colonial-era old mansions and the habit of drinking gin left behind by the British. The capital, Mahon, boasts a natural deep-water harbor, and it is said that the name of mayonnaise originated from this port city. Ciutadella, at the western end, served as the island's old capital for hundreds of years, with its medieval streets and Gothic cathedral well-preserved. The northern fishing village of Fornells is famous for its lobster stew, and the 17th-century Castle of San Antonio stands at the mouth of the bay. The old town of Alaior is the traditional production site of Mahon cheese. The white houses of Binibeca on the south coast are laid out in layers, imitating the style of a fishing village. Cova d'en Xoroi, on the cliffs of Cala en Porter, is named after the legend of pirates hiding there and has now been converted into a seaside bar and nightclub. In summer, during the traditional festivals held in turns by various towns and villages, black horses adorned with ribbons dance on their hind legs amidst the crowds—a folk scene rarely seen elsewhere.Alaior · 23.8 km from Ciutadella de Menorca

Great public vibe at sunset, though one caveat is that the parking lot only really has 6 spaces so be prepared to make a sharp turn and head to the main road to find parking. Whatever you do, don't park in the small crowded spot behind the bins as you'll end up fighting with 5 other cars behind you. Some crazy locals we saw? jumping off the rocks into the sea. Everyone was cheering. Not sure how they got out 😵 Beautiful views at sunset, sneakers or sturdy sandals recommended. Saw one lady struggling to walk down the path in stilettos. It's not really a path, just some sharp rocks that could ruin your holiday by breaking an ankle. I don't mind a bit of awkward walking, but if you wear flip flops you'll definitely regret it.

The Balearic Islands of Spain have several scattered islands in the Mediterranean, including the famous Ibiza Island and Mallorca Island, but my favorite is Menorca Island! [Scenery] The capital Mahón has direct flights from major airports in Spain and some major cities in Europe. It is not far from the airport to the town center by taxi, and many people choose to drive around the island. It is recommended that less than 2 people take public transportation, because there are buses from the city bus station to major private beaches, and the timetable is also very detailed. You can eat directly at the port. The best restaurants in the city are all located at the port, so you don’t have to look for any treasure restaurants. [Fun] It is recommended that you change a beach every day. One of the reasons why I like this is that almost all the beaches are virgin beaches and there are no commercial facilities. In other words, you are unlikely to rent a beach chair for a cocktail. Only one of the beaches has a star hotel, and the service facilities are complete, and the nearby restaurants are also one of the best in the morning. This is a popular place for locals to spend their honeymoon. It is recommended to book in advance! The beach recommended at the end of the photo is the most beautiful beach on the island and one of the most famous beaches in Europe. A-list celebrities from all over the world like to take yachts here for vacation and stop! Even if you drive here, you have to park your car 20 minutes away from the beach, and you can only get there by foot! ! It is recommended that you bring your own equipment and drink enough water. [Value for money] If you have enough time, you can go to the second largest city, Citadela, on the other side of the island. This city was once a British colony, so the architectural style is very different, and the city's restaurants and ports are more charming. In general, this island is very cost-effective, because the beach is free, and the per capita consumption of all restaurants is only a dozen to 20 euros. You can book a homestay for accommodation. It should be the most comfortable and private place for a Mediterranean vacation! !
