a beautiful castle with towers, gardens and terraces, and for £11 (Aug ‘23) you may walk around the whole area. it stands in 250 acres of gardens and grounds and has extensive views of former parkland and the Irish Sea.

Travelled from north Wales on Monday morning for a day cycling at coed y brenin, cycled the green route in the morning, went back to the centre for some lunch only to find it was take out only, with a huge cafe area and not many customers to put up a few tables and eat indoors would have been more than possible and safe with ample room for social distancing in the cafe area, very disappointing. Spent over £40 yesterday on food in the centre only to eat outside when there was literally no-one there!! Surely eating in could have been possible.packed lunch next time.( Disappointed)
