Castle of Santa Barbara
Santa Barbara Castle was established in the 16th century, and the history of this area goes back even further. Items from the Iberian and Roman periods of the Bronze Age have been found on the mountain. Now, the castle has become a landmark of Alicante. There is an elevator on the side near the sea, but there is a charge for taking the elevator in the mountains, and it is free when you get down. great hike, absolute spectacular views as you can see 1000% worth the experience, approx take 30-1 hour to get up there. museums as well but didn’t go in them.

We absolutely love this park! This was our fourth time! It's not too hot in August, but there aren't as many lines as in cooler weather. The evenings are wonderful, and there's an incredible pirate show. We went there for the first time, and we highly recommend it! We leisurely went through seven rides, some twice, and saw three shows.
