I did the sunrise hike at Mount Agung via the besakih route. I would not recommend Mount Agung to beginners but would definitely recommend it to people looking to be challenged. Both my guide, Juna, and driver, Gunawan were extremely nice and approachable. During the hike I had much difficulty climbing up however my guide Juna was patient with me and always cared for my safety. Would recommend everyone who plans on going to be well prepared with proper equipment/clothes and proper training. Summit of mount agung was extremely cold(10°C) so bring your jackets. An awesome and unforgettable experience overall. Everything was well planned, I was given a hiking stick and gloves and good food🙏🙏★
