The pick up and drop off was very convenient. We left the hotel early morning to experience the best time and light in the monastery. It was a private trip with a guide and a driver. The guide spoke well English and was explaining everything, even about his personal life. He was truly carying and it made this trip very special. I even had a spiritual experience in the monastery, including drinking a holy water.
What made me choose this trip was price, because many other trips were way overpriced. This one was reasonable and worth it :)★

Very interesting to visit Debre Libanos and the nearby cave where pilgrimes go for the holy water etc. Beautiful view over the valley on the short walk to the Portuguese bridge.★

We booked a half-day tour in Addis Ababa on an eight hour layover, it was the perfect way to spend the time in the capital city of Ethiopia. Thank you, Muluken, for the quick responsiveness and getting us set up with a tour, and following through to ensure all went well. We really appreciated the level of detail provided and all of the options that were available. Upon arrival at Addis Ababa, our driver and guide were waiting for us at the parking lot area just as the instructions had indicated. We had the pleasure of spending the half-day with our passionate and knowledgeable guide, Biruk! In just six hours we were able to swing by the museum to see incredible fossils including Lucy, then we had a local coffee ceremony experience with a delicious local lunch, we made our way outside of Mt. Entoto park for a scenic photo-op, and descended back into town on a scenic drive through both new neighborhoods and old before drop off at the airport. Biruk is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about sharing his culture, we were so glad to have him as our guide! Thank you for giving us a taste of Ethiopian culture, it is certainly a country I want to re-visit with more time. If you have an 8+ hour layover, I highly recommend this tour.★

Abraham is an excellent tour guide, he has fabulous knowledge of the Ethiopian history which he imparts with great passion. The tour itself is a lovely drive through the countryside to Debre Libanos going through interesting small villages. The monastery itself is ornate and interesting, the small museum nearby I thoroughly enjoyed. The bleeding heart baboons were very special and the visit to the blue Nile gorge was the highlight for me, I just loved this serene area with spectacular views. Thanks Abraham I could not recommend you highly enough.
