▲ The Garden of Cultivation (Yipu Garden) is a small yet exquisite garden showcasing distinct Ming dynasty artistic characteristics. As one of Suzhou's most compact classical gardens, it features a simple yet refreshing layout with natural, unpretentious elegance. Free from excessive ornamentation or artificiality, its artistic value surpasses many late Qing dynasty garden works. Every element - from the landscape composition and pavilion structures to the meticulous placement of individual rocks and trees - exudes an atmosphere of classical refinement and timeless beauty.

▲ If you can't experience all of Suzhou's gardens, or if you want to delve deeper into the essence and value of this World Cultural Heritage site, spending an hour here will be very beneficial.

▲ Lion Grove Garden(Shizilin Garden), along with the Humble Administrator's Garden, Lingering Garden, and Canglang Pavilion, is collectively known as the "Four Great Gardens of Suzhou." Although small in size, Lion Grove Garden is famous for its rockery formations resembling dancing lions. The interconnected rockeries create a maze-like experience where visitors can count stone lions and explore the labyrinth for a fun hide-and-seek adventure.
