The fish and chips included in the itinerary were absolutely delicious—the best fish and chips I've ever had! Unfortunately, we weren't lucky enough to see a whale flip over during whale watching, but we did see countless dolphins, which was truly spectacular! The tour included many scenic stops and views, making the whole trip very enjoyable and relaxing!
Reviews: Wanaka: Full-Day Guided Packrafting Tour with Lunch
Guest User2025-01-14
Our friendly & knowledgeable tour guides Sue & Kaylie were amazing. After a short drive we got to walk through a lush sheep station where we saw a stunning waterfall. After that we suited up for a packrafting adventure down stream - stunning views of the surrounding landscape all the way. After a tasty lunch break we continued on rafts, finishing off with an exhilarating dip in the fresh glacial river. Truly was a highlight of our NZ trip.
Reviews: Kaikoura: Whale Watching Flight with Guided Commentary

Had a great fly over a sperm whale. Small plane so everyone was seated at a window and they made sure to rotate the passes so everyone got a great look. I had my infant in my lap and they had the appropriate seatbelt, ear protection and life jacket for him so we felt very safe. Great experience and I didn’t have to miss whale watching (can’t take babies on the boats). Lovely hot drink machine and water in the lounge area you can use before and after your flight. Even had a changing table for my baby in the bathroom!
Reviews: Kaikoura: Sunset Evening Kayaking Tour

Our Sunset Kayak Tour was a lot of fun, it was more than just kayaking around the shoreline, we enjoyed seeing the large Albatross and smaller Turin birds...it was interesting to see the Fur Seals up close as they were basking on the rocks...they are larger than you link...Our Kayak guides were very personalable, knowledgeable of the marine wildlife and local surroundings and made the tour a lot of fun...I would do this tour again.
