Our guide Karthik made the trip what it was… very informative, worth the cost. He was attentive, patient and very knowledgeable.
Reviews: Te Puia: Te Rā Guided Day Tour

Our tour guide was very informative and passionate about what she did. We learnt a lot about the Māori culture and enjoyed seeing the beautiful geothermal landscape in Te Puia. Our kids also loved seeing the baby Kiwi on site. The whole attraction was very clean and well maintained. We would highly recommend visiting this place.
Reviews: Rotorua: Wai-O-Tapu Geothermal Park Entry Ticket
Guest User2026-01-13
The geothermal park is truly impressive, with an extraordinary array of colors and natural phenomena. The geyser, however, is artificial and smells of Marseille soap, clearly intended for tourists: this aspect didn't convince me. Furthermore, immediately after the 10:30 a.m. show, most visitors flock to the park at once, creating some very crowded spots along the route. Overall, however, the experience is interesting and I recommend it.

Tom was an amazing tour guide. He was patient with us and the whole tour was great. The BBQ with the peacock/venison sausage and salmon was amazing and the glowworms was the icing on the cake. Thank you Tom for the amazing memory!

Great museum and walk through history. Don’t skip walking to the waterfall, it’s worth the effort!
