Thomas was an amazing hike tour guide! From the very start, he made the entire experience unforgettable. He not only led us through the beautiful trails of Rio de Janeiro, but also shared the rich history behind the city, adding a whole new layer of appreciation for the landscape. His knowledge about the local plants was incredible—he pointed out so many unique species along the way, explaining their significance and uses in the ecosystem. What an amazing day we had at Tijuca Forest! Our tour guide, Eric, was incredibly knowledgeable and led the entire tour in English — which was especially helpful since there were 11 of us and I was the only Brazilian in the group. We learned so much and had a lot of fun exploring caves, swinging from cipó like Tarzan, spotting different animals, and enjoying beautiful waterfalls. We highly recommend this tour!!!
