Reviews: Jiaoxi Galax Star Hotel Lunch Buffet + 120-minute Rooftop SPA Open-air Hot Spring (No surcharge for weekend lunch. Weekday/weekend dinner +NT$300)
Guest User2026-04-16
The lunch buffet was mostly rice and starchy dishes, with no grilled beef, seafood (shrimp, fish, and onsen tamago), and no ice cream. It included a public onsen bath, but the changing rooms were cramped, and whether the two shower stalls were usable during peak hours was questionable. The massage buttons in the hot spring bath could be added to one side. I don't know about the accommodation, but I wouldn't recommend it for just eating and soaking in the hot spring, as there are many other interesting options nearby.
Reviews: Jiaoxi Hot Spring Park Forest Bath Ticket
Guest User2025-11-22
My first time at the Jiaoxi Forest Bath was even better than expected. The environment is Japanese-style wooden, surrounded by trees, truly giving you the feeling of being "in a forest" while soaking. The water is very smooth, there are many temperature options, and the price is reasonable, making it very travel-friendly. The only downsides are that it gets quite crowded and there are some fallen leaves in the pool, but overall it's definitely worth it. If you're looking for a place where you can enjoy a comfortable hot spring without spending a lot of money, I would recommend this place.
Reviews: HABITAT Jiaoxi Afternoon Tea Set Voucher (No Weekend Surcharge)
Guest User2024-12-26
Liaoliao Jiaoxi is located in the bustling Jiaoxi city center, about a 6-minute walk from the Yilan Jiaoxi Bus Station, making it an easily accessible accommodation option even without public transportation. Nearby is the famous Jiaoxi Hot Spring Park, and Tangweigou Hot Spring Park, Yishunxuan Restaurant, Muyu Shopping Mall, and Zheng Hao Xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) are all within walking distance. Finding snacks in the city center is no problem, making it a perfect two-day, one-night getaway.
Reviews: Yilan | FunTOUR Sightseeing Bus 1-Day Tour: National Center for Traditional Arts, Kavalan Whisky Distillery & Jiaoxi Hot Spring Park (Departing from Taipei) (Including Admission Ticket)
Guest User2026-03-30
I went on a solo trip. I took a large bus from Taipei Bus Center, but there were only three passengers, including myself. The tour price was cheap, even though it included the 150 NTD entrance fee to the Kavalan Museum of Traditional Arts and a 200 NTD coupon usable at the Kavalan Whisky Distillery. At the distillery, the staff gave a thorough tour of the factory (though it was in Chinese). However, there was no tour guide, so I didn't know how to get to the hot spring park at the end, but luckily someone on the same tour knew, which was a great help. There is plenty of time for each attraction, so you can enjoy the whole day. I highly recommend it.
Reviews: Yilan Jiaoxi Four Points by Sheraton Chushi Xuan Cantonese Roast Duck Five-Course Lunch or Dinner Voucher (Weekend/Holiday Surcharge: NT$200)

The roast duck wasn't too tough, which was nice. The service was excellent. Parking was easy and the location was convenient.
Reviews: Buffet Lunch Voucher at MU TABLE in Jiaoxi Hanmu Hotel (Weekend Lunch +NT$200, Weekday Dinner +NT$280, Weekend Dinner +NT$480)

Overall, the food was good, the seafood was very fresh, and since it was crab season, we ate a lot of crab 🤭 However, the beef soup was just average, while I highly recommend the pumpkin soup ❤️ But it's quite filling if you drink too much of it 😂😂😂
