Reviews: Madrid: Segovia & Ávila Full Day with Alcázar & Wall Tickets
Guest User2025-10-20
I enjoyed the tour and wished we started earlier to spend more time in Segovia and Ávila. The 11 am start time is a little late since it’s 90 minutes drive. You get about 30 minutes each in the Alcázar and the Wall. I did want more time in the Alcázar to read the placards since our guide didn’t go in with us to explain. You only need 15 minutes in the wall so we spent time looking at nearby shops. The hour lunch break in Segovia was great to try local dishes. I wish we had more time to explore Avila or arrived when more shops were open or had some free time. I would have loved time to visit the cathedrals. Alicia our guide was great and knowledgeable. She looked out for us on our trip and shared her wealth of knowledge. I had done research on places to eat and see so it made navigating things easier for me.

I am a travel agent & recently took a walking tour with Amanda & it was fantastic experience. Amanda was incredibly knowledgeable about the city’s history & culture sharing fascinating stories & little known facts that made our tour educational & entertaining. Thank you so much, regards Arlene & Darla
