▲ Amanohashidate: The Bridge to Heaven Amanohashidate, which translates to "Bridge to Heaven," is one of Japan's Three Scenic Views(Nihon Sankei), alongside Miyajima in Hiroshima and Matsushima in Miyagi . This special natural landmark is a pine-covered sandbar, approximately 3.6 kilometers longand dotted with over 8,000 pine trees, spanning Miyazu Bay in northern Kyoto Prefecture . It forms part of the Tango-Amanohashidate-Ōeyama Quasi-National Park

▲ The Amanohashidate cable car system connects the mountain base to the summit observatory. It primarily consists of two options: enclosed cable cars and single-person chairlifts, providing visitors with convenient access to a panoramic elevated view of the Amanohashidate sandbar.

▲ The best way to appreciate the full view of the funaya boat houses is from the sea on a sightseeing cruise. During the boat ride, flocks of seagulls will follow the vessel, and visitors can feed them by hand—a fun and interactive experience with nature.

▲ Taking a sightseeing boatin the bay offers a different angle to appreciate the scale and beauty of Amanohashidate from the water . The area is also known for Amanohashidate Onsen, whose waters are believed to be beneficial for the skin

▲ Ine no Funaya: Japan's Unique Waterfront Town Ine no Funaya refers to the unique architectural community nestled in Ine Bay on the eastern side of the Tango Peninsula in Kyoto Prefecture, Japan. Often hailed as the "Venice of Japan," these distinctive wooden structures, known as "funaya" (boat houses), are characterized by their remarkable design: the first floor serves as a dock and workspace for boat mooring and fishing gear storage, while the second floor functions as the living quarters. This layout achieves a perfect integration of fishing livelihood and daily life.
