An amazing experience! We had so much fun visiting Hobbiton. From the bus ride from Skycity hotel to Matamata NZ, the ride was smooth and the bus driver, Kenny was very professional, friendly, informative and even had the odd Dad joke. The tour guide Chrissy from Hobbiton was so knowledgeable, funny, friendly and so accommodating. The complimentary cookies and bottle of water on the bus ride, the alcoholic/non alcoholic drinks provided and most especially the buffet lunch were perfect! The movie set itself, amazing! And loved the how it was all interactive even the inside of one of the Hobbiton houses. Amazed at how detailed the set was, I could just imagine how much work was done to complete this movie set. I highly recommend visiting Hobbiton and booking via this website.★

Excellent trout organization and very friendly staff. While it was a pity that the Waitomo Cave tour was canceled due to bad weather and flooding, the Hobbiton village experience was amazing.Trip.com picks
