The bus, with seats assigned based on who showed up that day, lasted 3.5 hours in Kamikochi. We took a few photos along the way, finally stopping at Kappa Bridge for an apple pie and some milk bread. We arrived just in time—we might have been too late to walk further. We'd been checking the weather forecast before departure, and we changed our schedule at the last minute based on the weather. It turned out to be a wise decision! If it had rained, it would have been cold, difficult, and the scenery wouldn't have been as beautiful.Trip.com Picks
