Reviews: Huaqing Palace + Terracotta Warriors + Song of Everlasting Regret + Chartered Car Tour

Was an amazing experience seeing the terracotta figures in person, and shout out to our tour guide Ken, he really knows where to go, which route to take, and can point out things to look for while explaining the stories behind the different figures 🤩. Huaqing palace was nice and once again was glad we got Ken who really knows his stuff and could give the stories behind the buildings. But highlight of the palace was the show, really great, and highly recommended to watch 😍 Lights and sound and choreography was amazing 💙
Reviews: Xi'an Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Site Museum Terracotta Army half-day tour with expert guide and hotel transfer

This half-day tour of the Terracotta Warriors was fantastic overall, a fulfilling and comfortable experience. Special praise goes to our guide, Ms. Xing Yajuan; she was incredibly thoughtful, professional, meticulous, and patient. Originally scheduled for 9:30 to 11:30, she led us for a full three hours, without any rush. She also made sure to check on everyone's needs, such as photo opportunities, restroom breaks, souvenir purchases, and whether we were pressed for time. Knowing that many of us dislike crowds, she would deliberately take us to less congested areas for explanations, making the experience clearer and more enjoyable. Ms. Xing has an exceptional understanding of the details of the terracotta warriors, explaining everything from clothing, hairstyles, and expressions to weapons and formations in a vivid and insightful way. I learned a great deal and gained a deeper appreciation for the awe-inspiring nature of the Terracotta Warriors. I highly recommend Ms. Xing Yajuan; she is one of the best and most dedicated guides I've ever encountered on any tour.

DO: Get tickets for the Camel Bell show.  It's the best live show I've seen in China so far. DON'T: Get tickets for the optional "An Army Reborn" show.  Not worth the money, trust me. The tour guide, Star, was very informative and communicated clearly.  Tour was well organized, never rushed or boring.  By far one of the best day tours you can do if you want to learn the history of these two locations.  Both locations are mostly open-air, so make sure to dress for the weather and prepare for a reasonable amount of walking.
Reviews: Mini Group Xian Day Tour to Terracotta Army, City Wall, Pagoda and Muslim Quarter

Excellent one-day tour in Xi'an! We visited the main highlights: the majestic Big Wild Goose Pagoda (大雁塔), the awe-inspiring Terracotta Army (兵马俑), walked along the ancient City Wall (城墙), and immersed ourselves in the atmosphere of the Muslim Quarter (回民街), where we tried the famous biangbiang noodles (面). Special thanks to our guide Angie - who led the tour with deep knowledge and enthusiasm. The driver was punctual and careful, making the trip comfortable. The tour was very informative, well-organized, and truly engaging. We got a lot of impressions and learned so much about Xi'an's rich history. Definitely recommended!
