Reviews: Tromsø: Arctic Fjord Cruise & Fishing Experience

It's a pity we didn't get to see the aurora borealis; it even drizzled that night. Our guide was a Turkish guy, and his service was pretty good, but it was still a shame. We drove to Little Beach, an aurora viewing spot, more than an hour from the city, but still didn't see the aurora. We built a campfire and provided snacks and drinks 🥤. Since it's a natural phenomenon, there's no guarantee we'd see it, so we couldn't get a refund.

An activity that appeals to adults and especially children. The staff is attentive. Although it's a tourist activity, we had a great time and the dogs seemed happy and healthy.
Reviews: Reindeer Sledding Experience and Sami Culture Tour from Tromso

It's a really fun experience! A bus takes you there and back, and then you get an introduction to Sami culture, reindeer feeding, reindeer sledding, and other activities. It's very interesting!

It was wonderful to feed the reindeer and see them up close. There was plenty of time to spend with the reindeer and take photos. Afterwards, we were served hot drinks and soup with reindeer meat or a vegetarian option. Shortly after lunch, we even had the chance to see the Northern Lights. Finally, a Sami woman told us a bit about her culture. Unfortunately, this felt a little rushed just before our departure and could have been more detailed. If you're interested in reindeer, it's a great excursion, although we did find the price a bit high.

A wonderful activity! Even without the sleigh ride (for which we received a refund), we clearly had plenty of time to feed the reindeer several times. The staff is very friendly, from the bus crew and the meal attendants to the Sami people themselves. Don't hesitate to take a photo with them! Or ask them to take your picture... Bring your crampons, even though they provide them on site. A snowy landscape would be a bonus, but unfortunately, no one can control the weather.

Good fun. Only thing is you have to stop a lot to wait for different groups to catch up or for them to untangle the dogs. But it was easy to mash and fun.
