Reviews: Rome: Colosseum Arena Floor Access & Roman Forum Tour

From start to finish, this tour was absolutely amazing. The customer service before the tour was excellent—clear communication and super helpful staff made everything easy and stress-free. Our guide was fantastic: knowledgeable, engaging, and funny, which made the history come alive in such a creative way. Visiting the Colosseum was truly unforgettable, especially stepping into the arena—it’s a must for anyone coming to Rome. The Roman Forum was just as impressive, and hearing the stories behind the ruins really added so much depth to the experience. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants a rich, enjoyable, and well-organized visit!

Reviews: Rome: Colosseum Guided Tour with Roman Forum and Palatine hill

Had such a wonderful time exploring the ancient areas of the Forum, Colosseum and Palatine Hill with our very informed and extraordinarily fun tour guide Fe (Iron Fe, the Ex-Chemistry Teacher). She was passionate and so knowledgable! I would highly recommend anyone to get her for an English speaking tour. She gave little tidbits and also brought a couple of books to show us what the ruins would’ve looked like when they were built.

Reviews: Colosseum Arena Floor, Roman Forum & Palatine Hill Tour

A fantastic Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, and Colosseum Arena tour, led by the wonderful Laura. Our group was a perfect size (11 people), and Laura’s passion, knowledge, and genuine love for Roman history really shone through. After meeting near the Crown Tours office and grabbing a refreshing coffee and sandwich at Café Polveriera, we headed to the Forum and Palatine Hill, where Laura truly brought ancient Rome to life — you could almost picture the traders and daily bustle of the city. A short walk took us to the Colosseum, and being part of a small group meant skipping the long queues with only a short wait to enter. A quick reminder: photo ID is essential — no ID, no entry — and there are multiple security checks, but once inside the arena it’s absolutely worth it. Standing so close really brings home how impressive (and terrifying) it must have been. A brilliant tour and well worth paying a little extra for a small group and such an exceptional guide.
