Reviews: Queenstown to Christchurch via Mt Cook One-Way Tour

Joe and Jay were fantastic drivers and very helpful along the way. They were very patient with the diverse group of travelers who were always late or had some issue. Very kind of them. I mainly booked this as a transport from Quernstown to Christchurch so it definitely met the mark, the whole “Mount Cook” visit is a bit confusing. You just roll up to this place and then they say “OK you can go hike for 3 hours and meet back here.” It was raining and I wasn’t hiking anywhere but the cafe at the hotel was nice. Unfortunately weather didn’t allow for any helicopter rides which I planned to do. Overall good trip.

Our family of 4 had Diana and Joe as our guides. Diana picked us up in CHC and narrated the history of the sights we visited as she drove the van down to Mt Cooke. Very informative! We were going on to Queenstown so we switched to Joe's van, who was also very helpful and friendly. It was stress-free travel with everything taken care of, including bathroom breaks, prearranged lunch and snacks/water. Highly recommend!

The tour was fantastic. The scenery was among the best I’ve seen anywhere in the world. Absolutely mind blowing! Dave was a great guide and driver. He maintained a friendly atmosphere in the group. I appreciated his dad jokes, even though they were most likely lost on the non-native-English-speaking members of the group!
