The guide was great. Funny and knowledgeable. And each site was beautiful. I would say it’s too long in wanaka and not long enough in arrowtown though as there’s lots to see and do there. It’s probably worth spending the whole day there and it’s only a 20 minute drive from queenstown. Wanaka is pretty but nothing really going on other than a view of the lake.

the first part from christchurch was really good. our guide Jo was attentive and has lots of tidbits to share. the second half going to queenstown is not so good. bus is packed and feels claustrophobic.

It was a very fulfilling tour! At the beginning, I mistakenly got into the wrong car out of the two available, but they noticed along the way and returned me to the correct one. I apologize for the inconvenience. The tour itself was wonderful, and we were blessed with great weather, making it a perfect day for hiking. The Southern Alps were absolutely breathtaking! We stopped at various photo spots along the way, and we even got to visit an ice cream shop and a salmon farm, which made it incredibly satisfying!
