Hoover Dam: Half-Day Tour from Las Vegas

Join a half-day tour of Hoover Dam from Las Vegas. It is also known as Boulder Dam and is one of the engineering wonders of the world. Completed in 1935, it was once the world's largest electric power facility and concrete structure. It is currently the 34th largest hydroelectric generating station, with 17 turbine-generators producing up to 2,074 megawatts of power.

You'll also walk on the Mike O'Callahan/Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge for a scenic view of the dam from nearly 1,000 feet above the Colorado River.

Upon arrival, you'll drive across the dam to an Arizona lookout for a great view of the entire complex and the Arizona spillway.
