Mount Etna: Guided Day Trip from Catania

Start your trip with a pickup from your hotel and head to Rifugio Sapienza. Along the way, see various viewpoints. A guide will explain the history and geography of the volcano.

Upon arriving at Rifugio Sapienza (1920 meters above sea level), trek along one of the natural paths in "Parco dell'Etna," going up to 2000 meters. Or, select from other onsite activities if trekking isn't preferred.

The excursion continues with a visit to a lava cave, with all necessary gear provided. The final stop before returning to the hotel will be an organic farm. Here, sample local products like honey, wine, and olive oil.
