Mount Etna: Excursion from Catania

Accompanied by an environmental expert and hiking guide, you will experience an exciting excursion to the highest active volcano in Europe.

The guide will explain the history of this volcano and take you to discover some of the most spectacular places on Etna.

The trek will start with a panoramic view and a visit to the ancient "Valle del Bove," followed by a trip inside an ancient lava cave.

At an altitude of 2000 m, you will explore ancient and recent lateral craters. The beautiful lunar landscape of Etna will surround you on the way back to the starting point, towards Catania from the southern side of Etna.
