Itinerary

Departing Dublin early morning your first stop is the magnificent Dunluce Castle ruins. This 13th century castle ruins are edged on the Antrim cliffs and have some breathtaking views over the Atlantic Ocean. One of the best preserved ruins in Northern Ireland. Just a photo stop but definitely worth the visit.

Following that is one of the highlights of the day. The Giant's Causeway consist of 40,000 interlocking hexagonal basalt columns which were formed around 60 million years ago in the aftermath of a volcanic eruption. You can admire the stunning views as you walk along the cliffs overlooking the Causeway before taking on the Causeway itself. Spend at least 2 hrs at this unique UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The tour will make it's way back to Belfast with a stunning drive through the Antrim countryside and a stop at The Dark Hedges. Intended as a compelling landscape feature to impress visitors as they approached the entrance to the Georgian mansion, Gracehill House. Two centuries later, the trees remain a magnificent sight and have become one of the most photographed natural phenomena in Northern Ireland.

Finally, the tour head to Belfast and the Titanic Museum. Full of interactive displays, videos and a 3D experience that gives you an in-depth look at the history of the Titanic ship, from her conception, fateful maiden voyage and to her eventful discovery on the seabed of the North Atlantic.

You can spend some free time discovering Belfast city before you head back to Dublin.
