Reviews: Taiwan EasyCard for Transportation | With Taoyuan Metro Card | Exclusively for Non-Taiwan Residents | Essential for Self-Guided Tours in Taiwan | Can Be Used on MRT and Buses (Collect at Taoyuan International Airport)
Guest User2026-04-19
We bought a card that already had a $200 top-up and included round-trip airport train tickets. Retrieving the card was convenient. There are two counters behind the entry gates at the T2 and B2 stations, but they're actually a bit hard to see when you go down to B2 from the elevator. You have to look back before you enter the gates to see them. Unfortunately, there was no option to choose the style; ours was a Hello Kitty semi-transparent one. Overall, retrieving the card was quick and easy.
Reviews: [Valid Across Taiwan] 7-ELEVEN Convenience Store Gift Card | 711 Shopping Credit | 7-ELEVEN Virtual Card

After using 7-Eleven's virtual card for a while, I'm really impressed and want to share my experience. First and foremost, the most obvious advantage is its convenience. Before, I always had to check my wallet and cash before leaving the house, but now I can pay with just my phone, completely eliminating the hassle of searching for cash. Especially when I'm in a hurry or waiting in line, a simple swipe completes the transaction; the whole process is incredibly smooth and feels much faster. Next, regarding the user experience, the interface is very intuitive and doesn't require much learning time; you can basically use it on your first try. Whether it's making payments, checking your balance, or reviewing transaction history, everything can be easily done on your phone, which is very user-friendly for those accustomed to digital tools. Another thing I really like is the increased sense of security. Compared to carrying cash, which sometimes makes me worry about losing or having it stolen, the virtual card offers much more peace of mind. Even if my phone malfunctions, there are other protection mechanisms, so it's not like cash that's simply gone forever. Overall, the experience of using the 7-Eleven virtual card was quite positive. It not only made daily spending more efficient but also better suited our current cashless payment lifestyle. If you're like me and often too lazy to carry a wallet, or if you want a faster and smoother checkout process, I highly recommend giving it a try!

Reviews: Taoyuan International Airport | Terminal 2 VIP Lounge Service | Oriental Club Lounge

I arrived at the lounge around 6:30AM on Chinese New Year day. There was a bit of a line, but it moved quickly. The lady at the desk seemed confused when I presented the QR code until I mentioned buying from Trip. Make sure to mention it's a Trip QR code because they use another device to scan. I was let in after she verified my boarding pass. It wasn't difficult to find empty seats in any area except for the very back left, which had 2 massage chairs and 3 lay down chairs that were popular for obvious reasons. There are a few buffet stations (with limited Western options). The drinks station has coffee, tea, water, soda. A cold bar area had various salad, fruits, toast, and a mini fridge with milk and orange juice. The hot bar area has steamed buns, dumplings, dim sum, and catering pans with other hot dishes. The last station provides made to order noodle and rice dishes (beef noodle soup is the most popular). Next to that are western hot foods like hash browns, bacon, and eggs.
Reviews: Plaza Premium Lounge (PPL TPE) at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport

I was very satisfied with my experience using the Plaza Premium Lounge at Asia Pacific Airport. The pre-booking process was simple and quick, and entry was smooth upon arrival, making it very convenient for travelers with tight schedules. I visited in the early morning and was initially worried about limited food options, but the selection was surprisingly good. Besides the usual beef noodles and braised pork rice, they also offered congee and soy milk, perfect for travelers looking for something light and refreshing late at night or early in the morning. The food was generally tasty, and replenishment was fast. The beverage selection was ample and comprehensive, catering to different travelers' needs. It's worth mentioning that there were crowd control measures in place, and the seating and flow were well-planned. Even during peak hours, the space remained spacious and not crowded. In conclusion, the Plaza Premium Lounge performs well in terms of booking convenience, food quality, and space management, making it a great choice for travelers relaxing in the early morning or during layovers. Highly recommended.
