I was choosing carriers blindly because there were no descriptions. We took the Golden Queen one-way—it was great, with air conditioning (except the office opened at 7:00 AM, not 6:30 AM as advertised). We took the Angel Express back—no air conditioning, the fans didn't work—I wouldn't recommend it.★

I recommend their speedboat. The outbound trip starts at 7:30 AM, sit on the left side of the boat, and the return trip starts at 3:30 PM, sit on the right side. The journey takes about 1 hour each way. I usually get seasick, but after taking medication, I was fine sitting on the lower deck towards the back. We also had a 2-day chartered car trip in Penida; the scenery was beautiful!★

Very good price. I got the boat Waruna. It's a shame they don't let you on top of the boat, even for an extra fee. Only the general cabin.
