
▲ Bachengzhen is located in the ancient town area of Bacheng, built during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty (1875-1908). It stretches 200 meters from east to west, with a width that allows only three people to walk side by side. The street is paved with granite slabs and was designated as a cultural heritage protection unit by the Kunshan Municipal Government in 1997.

▲ Yangcheng Lake Lotus Island is located northeast of Suzhou's ancient city, surrounded by water on three sides. Named for its lotus-like shape embedded in the lake, the island covers 3.2 square km and is home to over 300 households who depend on the lake and crab farming for their livelihood. With vast waters and exceptional water quality, it is the origin of authentic Yangcheng Lake Chinese mitten crabs, earning the title "Hometown of Chinese Mitten Crabs."

▲ Historically, Chongyuan Temple was a thriving Buddhist site of the Zen tradition. The reconstructed Chongyuan Temple is located on the picturesque Yangcheng Lake Peninsula, with its most notable feature being the 33-meter-high statue of Guanyin in the Water Guanyin Courtyard. This is a view that embodies the unique characteristics of Chongyuan Temple as a lotus Buddhist kingdom and a Guanyin sacred site.
