Reviews: Li River 4 Star Cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo Hotel Pick up+ Buffet Lunch
Guest User2026-09-15
The cruise itself, as a means of transport from Guilin to Yangshuo, is a good option, but there are some caveats. It's a long journey. A taxi from hotel to hotel takes about 1.5-2 hours. By boat, including transfer to your hotel and waiting time for departure, it's about seven hours. Our ship didn't stop anywhere, although other ships regularly stopped at beautiful spots. And the announcements for such spots weren't obvious. Because of this, we missed the view of the Seven Horses. The buffet was quite decent, and the views themselves, which are the main reason for the cruise, were wonderful.

Reviews: Li River 4 Star Cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo With Hotel Pick up+Buffet Lunch
Guest User2026-08-11
The cruise was really wonderful and the buffet lunch was good. The service was good as well. Unfortunately the sequential poorly organized seating had 2 of us on the first floor and one of us upstairs. There really should be better seat assignments to ensure that groups are put together as best as possible. Thankfully, they were kind enough to give us a bench together near the front…otherwise being so separated would have great affected our experience for the cruise. Based on the description, we thought we’d have a private car. We ended up being in a shared van and pickup was earlier than expected to accommodate picking up other passengers. This was ok but just not what we expected. We also thought it went until 1:30 but we arrived in Yangshuo around 12. Not sure why it was so much shorter than quoted Overall a great day, however, and would recommend this cruise. It would just be nice if the description and times were more accurate.

Our guide, Liao Flin, picked us up from the hotel promptly at 9:00 AM, showed us all the sights, and was very friendly and attentive. He helped us communicate with local vendors and get the best price. He also shared information about the area. He took photos and pointed out the best spots we wouldn't have found on our own. We communicated seamlessly via WeChat. We were very pleased with the tour.

The itinerary was well-planned, covering all the essential scenic spots in Yangshuo, allowing for a carefree trip. The driver was very responsible and chose routes based on your needs, making for a fairly full day. Worth a try!

Reviews: Guilin Li River Scenic Area 3-Star Cruise Tour [Mopanshan-Yangshuo | Optional 1-day tour to Silver Cave]
Guest User2026-05-10
I went on May 6th. Since it wasn't a holiday, it wasn't too crowded. They picked me up from my hotel near the high-speed rail station at 7:30 AM sharp, but I had to cross the street to get to the pick-up point. We arrived at the Mopanshan Wharf parking lot around 8:50 AM, and after a few minutes, we got our tickets from the tour guide and were dismissed. You only know the specific ship, cabin class, and departure time when you get your ticket on the day of the trip. On this day, my ticket showed a departure time of 9:45 AM. On the bus, it seemed like the tour guide kept introducing various attractions and travel agencies. Fortunately, the noise wasn't too loud, and wearing AirPods Pro 1 helped block it out quite well, so I wasn't disturbed much while sleeping. Hot water is provided on the ship, but I recommend bringing your own instant noodles for lunch.

Reviews: 7-person group tour | Guilin Li River Scenic Area + Yulong River Rafting + Shili Gallery + optional activities 1-day tour
Guest User2026-07-08
This small group tour was a fantastic experience! Our guide, Mr. Xie, was incredibly professional, kind, attentive, and patient – his service was superb. The itinerary was excellent; we didn't miss any of the highlights of Yangshuo, and the tour wasn't too rushed. We didn't have to worry about a thing all day – a definite thumbs up! I would definitely recommend this travel agency to friends. From initial inquiries to the end of the tour, they responded promptly and patiently at every step, and there was no hard selling of shopping – excellent!
