Sit back and enjoy. It was a wonderful day during which we learned a lot about the region. Our bus driver gave us great information, drove very safely, and was also very funny. There were fantastic photo stops, and experiencing Milford Sound firsthand is simply indescribable. You have to see it for yourself. One of the highlights of our New Zealand trip!!

We departed from the Queenstown meeting point at 7:30 AM and didn't arrive at the Milford Sound ticket office until just after 1:00 PM, stopping at several scenic spots for about ten minutes for photos. The boat trip lasted about two hours before heading back to Queenstown. In total, we spent over nine hours on the bus, which was incredibly uncomfortable – only the brave could make it! The driver spoke Chinese and was very nice! I wasn't particularly impressed by the fiordland scenery.

Although a bit pricey, it's still highly recommended! The driver is reliable and looks like Bruce Willis. He was very punctual in picking up passengers at the agreed location. The entire trip was scenic, with multiple stops for rest and photos, making it so much easier than driving myself!

Our driver, Baba, was incredibly dedicated. Throughout the trip, he diligently shared information about the sights, local history, and even vividly recounted Maori mythology. The journey was long, but his earnest and responsible sharing made the trip anything but boring.
