The day before our tour, we were looking for a place that could accommodate us for the next day. Other companies declined because it was the day before. However, this private tour company was the only one that accepted us even though it was the day before. Their communication was polite and speedy. They showed up at the scheduled pick-up time and were very accommodating to where we wanted to go. I think it was only because it was a private tour that we were able to have such an experience. The tour guide and driver were very responsible, and overall it was a very fulfilling trip. The lunch buffet was also very good. However, the distance from the Black Temple to the Golden Triangle is quite long. The boat ride, free time to explore the area, and then the return trip took a total of three hours. It wasn't raining or congested that day, and the driver even drove quite fast. We left at 7:30 AM and arrived back in Chiang Mai at 10 PM. Travelers planning this trip should plan their itinerary accordingly.


