

▲ Zhujiajiao Ancient Town is located in Qingpu District, Shanghai, adjacent to Dianshan Lake Scenic Area. As a typical Jiangnan water town, it features crisscrossing waterways between streets and alleys with an elegant atmosphere. ▲ Zhujiajiao Ancient Town is relatively small, and walking is sufficient to explore the area. A quick tour around the ancient town takes about half a day. After entering from the southern entrance, you'll first arrive at Zhuxi Garden and the Humanities & Art Museum. Zhuxi Garden is a compact and exquisite traditional garden that is now open to the public for free. The Humanities & Art Museum is a uniquely designed modern white building that showcases the local history and culture of Zhujiajiao through oil paintings and sculptures.


▲ After passing the Humanities and Arts Museum, you'll arrive at North Street, where bustling visitors stroll along. The street is lined with numerous snack shops offering famous treats like Grandma's Zongzi, ancient town glutinous rice balls, braised pork trotters, and various exquisite pastries.
