We booked an 8 persons tour for Terracota Army and Lishan Garden (Mausoleum Site Park of Emperor Qin Shi Huang), but we ended up with a private tour. The operator was in permanent contact wiih us on WeChat since we booked the tour. It would have difficult to cover the whole area as a foreigner. Our guide Amy was amazing - very knowledgeable, speaking excellent English and explaining everything in details, it was a pleasure to talk to her. I highly recommend the tour with her. Additionally, we were changing the hotels during the day and our drop off point was different than the pick up point - it was no problem, the operator was happy to support us and Amy personally went at the reception and helped us with the check in. All in all, a wonderful experience!

Ganquan canyon which was more than 4 hours away from Xi'an city. Long journey but definitely worth it when you arrived at the canyon. Sadly the weather was really perfect as the sun was not seen during the entire trip, but blissfully, it wasn't raining at least. Once we arrived at the canyon entrance, we were immediately invited to dine in for lunch at the restaurant but had to wait for a good 5-10minutes before we were served with the dine-in lunch meal box. The food was just very so-so. But at least the vege potatoes smash was very delicious. We have to pay an extra 70 yuan per person to take the shuttle mini bus to the Huashugou canyon and Gan Quan Da Xia Gu Long Ba Gou. Only 2 canyons were visited for this trip instead of 3 that I initially thought. The Ganquan canyon was just the stop for lunch and then took the shuttle bus to these two canyons above. Inside the canyon, the walkway was very narrow and you have to be very patient.too little time given and crowded. But recommended.

I took my foreign friends to visit the Terracotta Army. They found it absolutely fascinating. Our English tour guide was lively and engaging, making the whole experience wonderful. The staff contacted us one day in advance, and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend this service.
