It had been a long time since I'd joined a tour group, but this time I booked one for my trip to Japan. I was surprised by how friendly and sincere the tour guide was, and how exceptionally attentive the service was. It completely changed my old perception of group tours. We were the only two Koreans and the rest were of different nationalities, which was a bit awkward, but they didn't mind and explained everything clearly, even if it was just the same content, in different languages. The first shrine in the forest was fantastic. However, please be careful as you have to climb stairs and a mountain within a short time. The Takachiho course is entirely downhill, and the return trip is via shuttle, making it very convenient. You can leisurely admire the columnar joints. Just keep in mind that it will be tight if you pack lunch as well. The last shrine requires a long walk in the opposite direction from the first. There are several shrines along the way, but it is difficult to see them all, so I recommend focusing on the cave. If you get your fortune told on the way, you can place it at the final cave. You can get Goshuin stamps at both the first and second shrines. You can get the first one at the parking lot and the second one at the cave shrine in the middle. There is ample time for breaks. However, since the round-trip journey alone takes nearly 7 hours, it is difficult to enjoy everything, but I recommend it because it is a place you wouldn't dare visit without this bus tour.★

I liked the itinerary, which provided a solid tour from Mt. Aso to Takachiho Gorge. Traffic was heavy due to the Japanese holidays, but thanks to the guide's efforts, we were able to successfully complete the entire course. I also appreciated the peace of mind provided by the priority given to Korean commentary and the guaranteed departure. I especially recommend this tour to those traveling on foot.★

This was a very hassle-free trip. Our guide, Jimmy, was incredibly attentive and provided excellent explanations. I didn't have to worry about a thing the entire time, and I felt very fortunate to have joined this day trip to Takachiho, Kusanagi, and Aso. The attractions are quite far apart, and public transportation would be difficult to navigate, so a group tour made things much easier.
Our guide had a wide range of knowledge, explaining the myths and legends of Takachiho and the landscape of Mount Aso in a clear and easy-to-understand way, making it more than just sightseeing. The vast grasslands of Kusanagi, with the distant volcano, were particularly soothing. We had ample time at each attraction, and he didn't rush us around. He even pointed out the best photo spots. He also provided helpful local tips along the way and patiently assisted us with any problems we encountered.★
