Although the tour guide spoke English, the explanations were very clear and detailed. The itinerary was well-organized and efficient, with the guide speaking exactly what he wanted, making our day trip perfect! Thank you to Ctrip for providing such a thoughtful international day trip! The trip guided by Kenny from Edinburgh was exquisite. Kenny looked after our safety and was an incredible story teller. The stories were about the history of Scotland, its important historical figures, they were full of humour and the Scottish tunes were really nice. We had an absolutely lovely time. Our guide, Ben, was super knowledgeable and very friendly and approachable - and had some great jokes. We loved every moment, would highly recommend!

Overall, the trip was alright. We experienced the Scottish Highlands and finally saw the little train after waiting for a long time by the Grumfenan Viaduct. For lunch, we arrived at a charming little town with a decent-sized area, McDonald's, and other restaurants. We thought the driver would drop us off there, but he didn't. Instead, he took us to a shopping mall a bit further away to eat. The food was terrible and expensive, a very poor experience. It's probably similar to shopping malls in China.


