Reviews: NGO Lifted Strong - Traditional Tanzanian Cooking Class

We loved our NGO Lifted Strong cooking class, booking was simple and easy. Joyce and her team were really accommodating and even moved our booking to the morning so that we were able to squeeze the cooking class in before our flight. You have the opportunity to choose several traditional dishes and we decided on the samosas and soup! As soon as we arrived we were made to feel welcome and were introduced to the charity and provided a background on all of their great work that they do for the local community. Then it was time to cook! We headed outside to a traditional cooking area and were shown the traditional methods of making samosas with a variety of fillings from scratch. It was a hands-on and enjoyable experience and it was great to chat to the amazing woman who volunteer for the charity. Finally it was time to enjoy our morning’s work and it was safe to say the samosas and soup were delicious! We sat with the team and discussed more of the fantastic work the charity has been doing in supporting women to be self-sufficient in Tanzania. Truly a worthwhile experience and one we won’t forget! Thank you to the Lifted Strong team, what you do for the community is incredible. You have played a huge part in making our trip to Arusha incredible and we highly recommend this class!
Reviews: 5-Hour Snorkeling, Swimming with Dolphins and Sea Turtles Aquarium

Don’t think twice, book this tour immediately! Suleiman’s tour guides were the highlight of the entire trip to Zanzibar! They picked us up from the beach at our resort and we ended up being the only 2 to go, so it was basically a private tour. They first took us to Mnemba atoll for some snorkeling and then we left for the sandbank stop. The sandbank was SURREAL! I have never seen water that clear and beautiful. Our guides (Joumo and Karabu ?) were great and cut us up some fresh pineapple, mango, and bananas while there. It was literal perfection. We then left to find dolphins which was exciting and funny, literally jumping off moving boats into the water to see dolphins underneath us lol. Then we left there to go see starfish and a ton of sea urchins. After this stop, our last stop was at the turtle conservatory to feed and swim with turtles before heading home. So much was done in 5 hours and like I said, it was the highlight of our trip! Thank you all for this tour! Book it immediately!!!
