Porto: Paiva Walkways, Suspension Bridge and Farm Lunch!

We depart from Porto towards the charming town of Arouca, where we'll make a short stop for coffee and restrooms.

Get ready for adventure! After a brief drive, we reach the first highlight of the day: the stairway ascent. It's certainly challenging, but incredibly beautiful and truly unforgettable.

At the top, prepare yourself for an extraordinary experience — crossing one of the Longest Suspension Bridges in the world, stretching 516 meters (1,692 ft) across the valley and suspended 175 meters (576 ft) above the Paiva River, offering breathtaking views!

After crossing the bridge, you'll continue along the stunning Paiva Walkways, descending along a wooden boardwalk that zigzags down the left bank of the river (Areinho–Vau trail).

The walk is followed by another highlight of our day: lunch! A delicious and well-deserved meal awaits you in a beautiful setting, featuring a farm-to-table style menu. Meat, fish, and vegetarian options are available.

After lunch, you'll have approximately 30 minutes of free time to explore Arouca's town center and get a glimpse of the local culture, traditions, and history.
