Our guide Jason was friendly, engaging and thoughtful. As we were travelling with an older person, he was constantly checking in to ensure that we are doing alright. The tour operator Expedigo NZ was also prompt in notifying us that there was a slight delay for the morning pickup. The experience at Whakarewarewa Maori Village was great to give us a peek into the day to day living of the Maoris. Our guide around the village was passionate, informative and friendly. The cultural song, dance and haka performances were simply beautiful and left a deep impression on us. The hangi lunch, though simple, was nice. To experience the Maori culture, this tour is recommended.Trip.com Picks
