IMO it was good. First stop was for toilet break after 1.5hr ride. After 2hr more we reached the village located at the foot of the mountain where we had lunch - super yummy! Then another 1hr to ascend the mountain. It was zigzag and we saw awesome falls, snow capped hills, super pretty scenes. We had about 1.5hr to explore on our own. I went to the snow wall, and to the Mikurigaike hot spring, past the observation deck. The place was still blanketed in snow so it was so beautiful. Snow Wall was open until 3pm only because perhaps it gets foggy by that time. We rode down the mountain with heavy fog, our driver was good and careful.

Unfortunately, our departure was delayed by more than 45 minutes due to a traffic accident, but thankfully the local guide managed to catch up with the schedule once we were on the road. Our guide, Peter, deserves a special mention. He’s an excellent storyteller, with strong bilingual skills in both Mandarin and English. His commentary was informative, entertaining, and really brought each stop to life. That said, the traffic congestion throughout the day caused us to miss out on fully enjoying some key highlights. We couldn’t explore the Red Brick Warehouse since it closed at 7:00 PM, and we were also disappointed to miss the Ramen Museum, which closed at 6:00 PM. By the time we reached Yokohama, most attractions were already shut. Luckily, we still managed to catch the return cable car ride, which was a nice way to wrap up the day.
